Everything was great. Hotel staff was super friendly and was helping me with every thing I needed. Free transfer from airport surprised me in a good way :) what else - it's a modern hotel, nothing is made with soviet style in there, that was really really nice! So I recommend you this hotel without any hesitation, especially because of its prices - they must be much higher for this type of hotel, I think.
kaikki arvostelut » This is a FANTASTIC deal. A taxi ride alone from Boryspol runs 300 grievna ($37.50) and for just a little more you get a room, a free shuttle bus, and breakfast, internet. Its just the best value in Kiev. The hotel is brand new and really nice. The staff is excellent. I can't think of enough good things to say about this hotel. New and clean hotel. Perfect solution for a short-term trips (business or tourists). Ideal place not far from metro and airport. You can easy gets to airport Borispil without any traffic-jams (it was important for us, we were staying in Kiev for only 12 hours). Plus: good parking. close to the airport Boryspil and 5 min walk to the metro station Boryspilska. Very convinient for those arriving to Boryspil airport. Good buffet breakfast. Quiet room facing back of the hotel. staff speaks Russian, easy communicate by email. I will stay again if accident will. This is an absolute gem of a hotel. New clean and inexpensive. They even provide shuttle service to Boryspol Airport for free and though they are not centrally located in Kiev - there is nearby access to the Metro so you can BE anywhere you want to be in Kiev cheap. This hotel was really a great surprise! The attention in the front desk was superb! fast, kind, efficient, I can not ask for more. The rooms very clean. The lady at the reception arranged everything for us, the shuttle, etc. I recommend this hotel. I loved everything about this place, especially the staff and the way they treat you! Plus it's located quite far from the city centre, but there is a subway station just in hundred meters. The 24 hour sandwich and beverage bar - isn't open 24 hours. And there really isn't anyplace to get something to eat when its not open. BUT there is a convenience store across the street with prepackaged, sandwiches, chips, juice, beer. So its not a big problem. The great things about this hotel FAR outshadow this tiny thing. Far from center:). There is nothing much, not even a good restaurant, around it (without using the metro). None. Subway station is second to last one on the line and it takes quite a while to travel between downtown and hotel. It's ok if you have time and make one return trip in the day, but forget going back to your room at the end of the afternoon for a break or a shower and then going out again. Taxi is faster and not expensive to go downtown, but more difficult to get late at night to go back to hotel. Few people speak English in Kiev (had problem in a museum, at the opera, etc.). I'd prefer the beds were a bit bigger, as well as the room. Well, when you see "breakfast included" it is not exactly true. There is no a normal breakfast, neither a breakfast room! Take some packed cake and coffee fro the machine. That's all! But 1 minute walk you have a mall with a big choice of bars, so... I have requested a shuttle on reception in the evening, but in the morning it appears that shuttle was not scheduled on the requested time. May be it was some kind of error or misunderstanding, but... It is located in the outskirts of Kiev, although the subway stop is 5-10 min walk from the hotel, it is additional 30-35 min journey in the train to the center of Kiev. To us it was OK, to somebody it may be too far away. It s not really in the centre but 5-10 min walk to an underground station. It s 30 min ride to the centre which is not really a big problem. Cafe is not open later in the evening but there is a gas station across the road so you can buy still something. Exiting the elevator on 'Breakfast floor' the floor is surprisingly gradient/slopy, which can cause tumbling. This should be marked somehow. A nearby house has dogs, which were barking many times at night. The hotel should seek a cooperative solution with owner, as this issue could eventually prevent guests from returning to the hotel. Nothing. Only the reception staff had a grasp of English, which for a Business hotel is vital. Bar staff were non existant. Buy kiev standards the hotel was not very expensive, but by world standards it was, like all Ukraine hotels and apartments, very over priced (expensive). nothing to say. Not enough pressure of shower. front side room there is traffic noise.Far from city but there is metro station five minutes by walk and thirty minutes from city. - 40min to city center + walking. For getting to the center of Kiev the long trip in the underground train. Breakfast needs improving and variety. Reception girl didn't wake me up in the early morning as i asked. The bed was very small but extremely comfortable.
