Although not addvertised the Full english Breakfast was excellent, and again although not addvertised the wifi system looks excellent. Being able to dine and enjoy a bottle of wine in a quiet unrushed atmosphere away from work, telephone, computers and teenagers.all the staff were very friendly, it made my stay so much more comfortable. the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing seemed to much trouble. The staff were ver friendly and couldn't do enough. very pleased. Excellent value for money, would use this group of hotels again. they were happy to put the football on for us and we won. Central position - friendly staff - no problems at all!!. relaxing in the bar, watching the tv, reasonable prices. very clean and well priced with included breakfast. value for money coupled with excellent quality. comfortable bed and tea making facilities. peaceful. Lovely big room, good shower, nice big comfortable bed. Breakfast was also very good with a selection of hot and cold food. Although on the outskirts of Tewkesbury there's the Elmbury Lodge (pub chain restaurant) next door if you want to eat/drink out of the hotel. excellent find in a hotel,large room pity the mattress was not up to the rest of hotels standard.staff friendly and good choice of breakfast. Room was large, comfortable and a generous size bed. Bathroom was alsospacious, very clean with a very efficient shower. Great breakfast, lovely staff, good shower and comfy bed in nice big room. Room was a bit cold when we arrived and it took 2 hrs to get from 14 degrees up to a comfortable 18 degs. No bath, but a very good shower. No biscuits, but that's obviously a very minor point!. mattress. Exterior of hotel is not particularly attractive but the interior makesup for this. Staff were very helpful and efficient.Obviously not in a particularly beautiful location, but for this quality and price, who cares?!. Our room was cold Fri.evening and the fan did not work on heater.Would like to have tea pots available at breakfast,tea bags in a tea cup in my opinion are disgusting, this is my only complaint of a nice friendly hotel. noisy fan from next room's shower. the restaurant area is to open plan right next to the reception(not private enough.). Air con was really noisy and we couldn't turn it off!. Didn't seem to be many staff on in the eve? Just two and they were doing the evening meals, serving, and trying to cover reception too. I would have liked a bath as well as a shower.Only one price for breakfast ie £8.95 for a full english and the same for continental [coffee and croissant] which is not good value. more choice required for those who do not eat a full breakfast. The price of the films were very expensive, and the breakfast option was too.Breakfast is a bit of a "free for all" although the food is quite good for the money. There were no spare pillows and those provided were uncomfortable. It is difficult to explore surrounding towns from this hotel without car. food was not great but ok considering price. There appeared to be a "droning" noise constantly heard in the room. Room was too hot, although a cold air fan was provided which we used. Room smelt of old cigarette smoke.Bit out of town, but convenient for area. Pub within walking distance. the air conditioning could not be turned off and was so noisy at night from the bathroom.Extra pillow,we had three between two of us. location not the best. rubbish in carpark.
