  Our hosts Steve and Lynn couldn't have been more welcoming and warm. We had a wonderful long conversation over breakfast ... home-cooked by Steve in his kitchen! - Very clean and comfortable accomodation. Excellent standard and choice of breakfast. Hosts were really accomodating. First class B&B. Peacefull location.

  My husband and I loved staying here. We have't relaxed as much as we did here for years. The owners were a delightful, friendly couple who were attentive yet left you to relax (which we did in the lovely lounge where a roaring fire welcomed us). The breakfast and evening meal were both perfect and the overall standard of the hotel was exceptional ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » (I don't think I've been in a cleaner bathroom). Excellent location for a book day in Hay or a ramble in the Brecon Beacons. Highly recommended - we w - Welcoming, friendly and considerate owners. Room had rather an old fashioned feel, in keeping with the coaching inn pedigree, but the bed was very comfortable. No TV but there was a bedside radio which is always a plus. The hotel has a luxurious guest lounge to sit and read in. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent.

  Cheap and cheerful rooms (the furniture has a few knocks and marks but that does not affect it's use). The rooms were really clean. Bedding and towels were spotless Friendly hosts Radio alarm clock and soap provided. Microwave, toaster and fridge in kitchenette area for guests use - cutlery and crockery too. Extension leads at sockets so plenty of... mitä ihmiset sanovat » power points. Only a few minutes walk in to Talgarth. Had a good 2 night stay - thank you. - Excellent welcome from the owners. A lone female sometimes does not like to leave the room to sit and eat and drink in the bar/restaurant. I was made to feel totally welcome and at home amongst friends. My breakfast timing was catered for without question. Would definitely recommend
