On the beautiful island of Jersey, this family-run hotel is half a mile from the centre of St. Helier and the sandy beach. There is a sun patio and heated pool. Owned and run by the same family for over 50 years, the Talana Hotel has well-equipped rooms each featuring a TV, telephone and tea/coffee facilities. The Havre des Pas seafront and a range of restaurants, bars and cafes are just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Jersey Zoo can be reached after a 10-minute drive through the countryside. A varied breakfast and evening menu is served in the relaxed dining room by the Talana’s friendly staff. The hotel leisure room includes a solarium for guests to unwind. Just a 5-minute walk will take guests to a golf course with tennis and squash courts.

Small friendly hotel. The staff were polite and eager to assist. Food was very good, although there was not a lot of choice, but perfect for those that like good wholesome roast dinners. Upgrading to half board is well worth the money. Rooms are a good size, cleaned daily. On the outskirts of town, perfect for those that like peace and quiet. Ample car parking. Would recommend this place to fellow travellers.
kaikki arvostelut » A very good budget hotel, excellent service with amazing staff, the Manager is extremely helpful (printing boarding passes etc) the waitress in the breakfast room (who has been serving there for 27 years) is just a lovely woman, incredible service and a joy to be there. The friendliness of the whole staff, especially the staff in the restaurant. Good food. The relaxed atmosphere. Everything looks very neat, clean and welcoming. We loved the art on the walls and the available games to play. The bus is very close to the hotel. Brilliant staff and services, lovely free breakfast and there's live music every Tuesday night! People there are sociable and friendly, sheets and pillows are cleaned and changed all the time and its generally very quiet. In addition there's free wi fi!. Clean & tidy appearance. Good facilities for two-star rated hotel. Should be rated higher; friendly knowlegable staff; good service. Food well cooked and pleasantly served. Very friendly staff, very helpful, organized car hire and gave lots of good tips and advice on the area. Would definately stay there again. The hotel was very comfortable, staff extremely friendly, very clean. Clean and tidy, friendly staff. All of it. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The noise at night was a little overwhelming if staying road side with window open, the hotel is a little dated but clean and tidy, could do with updating. We did not like the loud radio on during the meals. Some quiet relaxing music would have done. When we mentioned this however, it was closed down. Dining room rather crowded with not much space between tables. No daily choice of cooked dinner (different roast each night), but good portions and well cooked. Front bedrooms will hear traffic noise, rooms rather hot. nothing. my room was on the front and it can be bit noisy with traffic esp in rush hour. rooms are slightly old fashioned and could do with a makeover. Absolutely the only criticism is the lack of air con in the rooms but Jersey doesn't seem to bother with that much anywhere. It was a very hot week when we visited. The breakfast were OK, but the evening meals left a lot to be desired. The pool was cold. Nothing. Very dated. Room smelt a bit musty.
