  The large spacious rooms were an immediate visual impact. This was reflected in the furniture and soft well defined fabrics. The opulance of the bathroom was also an eye grabber. The unpretencious nature of staff and restraunt was well matched to the overall stay. - Lovely big room with a double jacuzzi!   The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. I've never had a hotel with a Spa bath! The staff were exceptionally friendly (not unusual for Scotland though) and the breakfast was yummy - diet went out the window!
