  Little extras in the rooms - decanter of whserry, fresh fruit etc - makes all the difference. Also very friendly helpful staff - Everything. It is a fantastic hotel with excellent service.

  Very helpful, smiling, friendly staff. The chefs are fantastic. A very high standard of comfort and we were able to come and go as we pleased and could just sit and read in our comfortable, quiet room if we wished a sofa. The home cooked shortbread was daily replaced - sad for the waistline but absolutely devine for a few days 'chill'.   Really liked it , what stood out from most hotels was all the staff were young? But the most impressive thing was that these young staff were absolutely superb they had good personality s and were so efficient? 10 out of 10 for the whole team. - We had a fantastic weekend.   High standard of service from everyone. The lack of formality and appreciation that we were straying there. Quality and variety of food was excellent from breakfast through afternoon tea and dinner. Our existing familiarity with the menus was one of the main reasons for staying. Room was comfortable and well serviced.
