  Location perfect. The room and ensuite bathroom was large roomy and very comfortable, there were two lounge chairs in the room which was very welcome while watching the TV, room No 4 twin. The owners went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed and had an enjoyable stay. They were on hand - Me and my 15 yr old son recently stayed here. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly and the atmosphere among all the guests mirrored this. We only had the breakfast, but it was lovely and set us up for the day ahead. Our room was clean and spacious, warm and daily attention was given to it by chris and melanie. I couldnt fault any of our stay.

  Fabulous bathroom, bath and shower superb, very powerful hot power shower and huge bath. Room was beautifully decorated and appointed, the TV sound could be switched to the bathroom so you can have a relaxing soak whilst listening to the tv. The restaurant was very good also and all staff were extremely friendly a - The care and attention we received was amazing! Along with friends we were travelling with our 2 year old son who was given the same as so often we find people leave out the smaller details when it comes to young children but not hear! We all would recommend to friends and family as a future place of stay! Well done to the owner, his staff & family for being so hospitable.

  Friendly staff, lovely decorated bedroom room, lovely bathroom comfortable bed. Loved the fact there was complimentry water, free wifi. The complimentry newspaper was a really nice touch too. Its those little things that sets the George apart from other hotels in the UK. The doorman who helped us with our luggage was professional and helpful. Love... mitä ihmiset sanovat » d all the different eating rooms, they seem to have a nice atmosphere but sadly we didn't have evening dinner at the George but have resolved to come - The facilities are everything you would expect from an establishment such as The George -the room was magnificent and the ambience of the hotel relaxing and welcoming. The staff are clearly focussed on guest comfort. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will certainly make a return visit soon.
