  This is a really professional hotel which excels in thoughtful touches. Although I had a single room, the bed was generous and comfortable. As it was very hot, a fan suddenly appeared in the room after the bed was turned down. There was a cafetiere and real coffee in the room.   A very old inn, of real character, with an intriguing history and attractive name; a place that has been through a lot in its time, and with a touch of eccentricity that we loved. A genuinely friendly atmosphere with spacious accommodation in a new timber building set apart from the inn. Quality bed linen, towels and bath robes also quality toiletries. Very clean and lovely bathroom. Real glasses in room and bathroom - not plastic as we got in a more expensive hotel!
