We stayed initially for1 night as we were tripping around,but came back for another as the food is excellent, staff kind caring and warm ,welcoming, yes there's a couple of creaky floor boards but the rooms are comfy,warm and clean, bedding and towels soft and fresh, we would def return there happily, really nice people couldn't do enough for us. Thanks all ;-) Johan the chef is very passionate about his food .

We stayed in the family room (Room 5) which had 3 bedrooms: I double, I
twin and 1 single, so plenty of room for a family of 5. It was also in
the main building at the top, so you get some nice views.
The shower in this room was really great. I mean, really great! Hot, powerful with nice shower gel and shampoo too. I know, it sounds weird commenting on the shower, but it really was awesome! I'm gonna book in here on my return from Glastonbury next year just so I can have a proper wash and scrub

The owners were really welcoming and helpful. Helped with the bags and hung up my still damp jacket that I had to wear to the wedding I was going to!!!! Breakfast was lovely and again nothing too much trouble. Really lovely feeling to the place, bedrooms were nicely furnished and beds really comfortable. Really nice place and good value.

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep.The breakfast was cooked to perfection and was very tasty.Liked the other breakfast choices as my granddaughter didn't want the full english,but had the choice of a bacon or sausage sandwich or scrambled or poached egg on toast. We were also offered refills on our hot drinks.The staff were all really friendly and attentive,making our stay even better.
