  My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights and were treated like family. Advice about places to go was plentiful and maps and brochures appeared out of nowhere.....we would definitely recommend staying here...it's a home from home. The full breakfast is huge and enough to feed 3 hungry people - I put 2 pounds on in 3 days!!!   My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much as we had never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before. It was just what we were looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Every room in the hotel such as the lounges had beautiful log fires, which we enjoyed a few mulled wines whilst having a lovely relaxing sit down.   We found the hotel to be lovely and comfortable and very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome! Although we stayed there in summer it wasquite cold and wet but heating was available all day if we wanted touse it.
