  This was a perfect break. The staff are such a friendly team and really go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed. The views out over the fells make you feel relaxed in the first 5 minutes. Excellent facilities, large car park, secure bike storage. Food plain, but large portions great if you've been walking or cycling. Apartment larger than expected. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

  Boot and shoe pub was a great overnight stay. The friendly owners and staff made you feel very welcome. The accomodation was very comfortable and the food was good. The atmosphere in the bar was great. It seems to be one of the pubs in UK that is doing well and providing a good service to it's customers.Even Tarzan likes the place. Great stay.   Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would be happy to use Bridleway again in the future. - We liked everything about our stay.A perfect break.   My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much as we had never stayed in such a beautiful hotel before. It was just what we were looking for a bit of peace and quiet. Every room in the hotel such as the lounges had beautiful log fires, which we enjoyed a few mulled wines whilst having a lovely relaxing sit down.
