The owners,Val and Brian Leask were very friendly and easy to be with. They were very welcoming and I instantly felt at home when I entered the hotel. The accomodation was lovely, particularly the bed - it was huge!! The breakfast was probably the best I've had. I'm definitely bringing my partner back to stay again! - private, very friendly owners

The room was well presented and very clean.

The room was lovely and the service was excellent. Since we were exploring the area around Selkirk and had only one day, we did not have time to hunt for restaurants.
