Set in 20 acres of farm land, Old Farm is just 500 metres from Bristol Airport and provides free 24-hour transfers. A short drive away is the medieval village of Backwell which has good transport links to the world heritage city of Bath. The property offers airport parking. All rooms have an en-suite and feature memory foam beds. The rooms also include free WiFi and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. It is located off the flight path so there is very little noise from aircraft. Tall Pines Golf Course is only a 5-minute walk from Old Farm and the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare is just a 30-minute drive.

Excellent new facilities.Met by beautiful Latvian girl who spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful.Half an hour later picked up by very friendly Latvian driver in their mini bus to take us to The Fox and Goose for a meal ,no charge for the ride and 20% off the food bill when I presented their card. Picked up again to return to Old Farm again no charge. Mini bus in the morning punctual even at the unearthly hour of 5.00 am. 7 minute ride to the airport departures building again no char.
kaikki arvostelut » The staff were really excellent and flexible - allowing me to check in much earlier than normal, after I had arrived from Dublin to Bristol airport. They had the room cleaned early, as I waited, and gave me some coffee and breakfast, TV, internet access, etc. The owner also dropped by to say hello. The staff also allowed me to use their printer and were excellent in providing transport to and from the train station in Bristol (about a 30 minute drive) and were much cheaper than a regular taxi. Waking up to peace & tranquillity apart from the joyous sound of birdsong after a comfortable night. Enjoyed watching a rabbit playing in the beautiful garden! Very close to airport, yet no sound of aircraft. Very well appointed - just like a very posh motel! Brilliant comfortable bed & pillows, excellent shower (a hand rail would be helpful) Even the loo paper was top quality!!Efficient pick-up from airport even though it was after midnight. Will definitely return. This is the third time we have stayed at Old Farm (Acorns) guest house and this time we had by far the best room. It was one of the single story chalet style rooms which is very spacious and immaculately decorated & spotlessly clean. It's great to be in a countryside location literally yards from the entrance to Bristol airport and the price of £59.00 for the night was excellent value. We now always use this accommodation when travelling to or from Bristol airport. I stayed in one of the new build suites, which represent very good value for money, there is a large sofa and flat screen tv, a very comfy bed with crisp clean bedding and the shower is really good. I thought at 500m from the airport noise would be an issue, but I hardly noticed any noise. I was able to leave my car and was taken to and from the airport by shuttle bus. The driver was friendly and very prompt. Parking is cheaper than the airport. It was a lovely comfortable room in the countryside away from the main road but close to Bristol for sightseeing the next day. It was quiet even though close to the airport. It was very tastefully decorated. Towels, toiletries, tea & coffee making facilities and a breakfast pack were supplied. Delightful comfort that far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, clean, modern. The location was perfect for getting to bristol airport and the free airport traansfer was brilliant. We also loved the little breakfast pack that was provided, perfect for our morning snack before we caught our plane. The bed was really comfy and the shower was great too. Definitely come here!. We normally use hotels in bristol and thought we give old farm a go (close to airport) seeing we had an early flight the rooms are a true delight and they look after are car at a reasonable price,we will always use this place when flying out of bristol which we do regularly .......perfect. A wonderful find, convenient for Bristol Airport. We shall certainly use Old Farm on future trips and recommend it to our friends. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful in suggesting a great place to eat. The shuttle to and from the airport was punctual and efficient. Had an early flight so arrived here 9.30 pm and left at 5.15am the following morning. I was collected from and taken to the airport by helpful member of staff. Packed breakfast was ideal. Lovely clean room with large shower in ensuite. Would definitely stay here again. It was comfortable, close to the airport and ideal for that very purpose. The room was excellent, the bed comfortable and warm (with the snow falling outside),the complimentary snack breakfast was well appreciated. Just outside of the airport and free transfer on both arrival and departure. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our late night flight and we would certainly stay there again if flying to Bristol. Ideal place to stay if you have an early or late flight into Bristol. Perfect situation for brief overnight stop after late evening flight arrival, staff picked us up, then took us back to the airport in the morning to pick up hire car so we could get on with our holiday. The location is fantastic for access to the airport. It is just 2 minutes drive o Bristol airport but no aircraft noise at all. I can't fault the location and the staff and the facilities - they were ideal for my getting to the airport to go on holiday. super comfy beds. Staff friendly and pick up service was great. The driver picked me up from Bristol airport at 0030 in the morning and took me back at 0600 this is a fantastic service. Closeness to the airport/car hire offices and very good attention to get us to our flight early in the morning. This is just a tiny niggle - but the TV reception was poor on many of the channels. This could have just been the poor weather whilst I was there. And the quality of the staff more than made up for this. Nothing that we didn't like, however a handrail in the shower would be worth installing - particularly for those of us of a 'slightly' mature age!. Unfortunately there is no restaurant on site or within an easy walking distance, there are however, pubs etc within a ten minute drive, breakfast is dried goods in a bag, but to be honest I had an early flight to catch and given that check in at Bristol airport is an hour or so before departure there is plenty of time to eat breakfast in the airport. Nothing ALL WAS GOOD. Nothing to dislike. nothing. had to pay in cash, no restaurant/food available except the breakfast pack. On return telephone wasn't answered for pick up. Took 3 calls. Back at Old Farm driver left us to deal with cases, then drove off, gates locked so we couldn't leave. Requiring another phone call, in bad signal area. After a long journey something we didn't need!. We weren´t able to lock the door of our room. Bathroom was a little difficult to access and the door banged one of the beds which meant mid-night visits disturbed that person. Tv was difficult to watch from twin beds as it was at a right angle with the bottom of the bed. Other guests leaving/arriving in middle of the night making too much noise, although more the guests fault than the hotels.. they do ask guests to leave as quietly as possible. Nothing to dislike. Young Staff all from Scandinavian countries, Speaking very poor English and unable to understand most of any conversation with them Poor response when trying to contact them to return keys ,waste of time using mobile phone no. Nothing in particular. None. not a thing. nothing to dislike. there was nothing to dislike . There was nothing to dislike. Bit confused re payment. On arriving I was asked whether I would like to pay by credit card or cash. This website says "only cash accepted" ??? Breakfast "bag" poor. Need to do more with it. Two single beds not a double and they were separated at different ends of the room. no hairdryer. Nothing not to like. Nothing negative to report. Nothing, it was all superb from booking to arrival through stay; transport to / from Airport. Nothing, it's a super stop. The minibus driver when he picked us up when we came back from our holiday, was very abrupt and impatient, in fact he told us of! Because we were not waiting in the correct place. This was because when he dropped us off he was very rushed and abrupt and did not explain clearly where we were meant to be. Still I have a good sense of humour and found this added to my adventure, but other people may not appreciate this, I would stay at old farm again. Poor breakfast - however quite understandable considering variation in times that clients would require it. I would stay again. I am disappointed that breakfast facilities weren't better. Either a better breakfast could be provided in the package or the opportunity to go to a dining room perhaps where cereals and fresh milk and toast and simple breakfast foods could be made available on a self serve basis. Nothing. A bit more effort might be put in to breakfast.
