I booked this B&B for my young daughter to stay on her own as she recently started a job in the area and had not yet sorted permanent accomodation - the owners could not have been more welcoming and reassurung of the fact that my daughter would be very comfortable and secure with them. As she had a very early start they offered to cook her a breakfast outwith their scheduled times and next day looked after her things till she finished work. Would highly recommend this B& B - facilities.
kaikki arvostelut » i arrived earlier than expected check in time and yet they gave me a very warm welcome. they looked after me as if i was part of their family during breakfast with all the guidance and warm talk, and wiwaited for me to arrive safe at nught. I literally felt as if i am visiting family. the place was clean and everything was on time. very comfy place and close enough gocity centre located in a beautiful area it was an unforgettable getaway experience for me wifi was available and excellent stren. The Guest House is run by a lovely couple who were very welcoming, friendly and helped beyond their duties to ensure our stay was very happy, comfortable and met our required needs and beyond. This made our trip highly enjoyable and I would recommend this Guest House to others. The guest house is a 5 minute walk from the city centre with lots of greenery surrounding, fantastic location. Good full breakfast in the morning cooked to your liking. The owners could not have been more friendly an helpful. Ian and June. made me very welcome and I would have no hesitation in making a return visit perhaps with my wife.The 'Manse is only 10 mins stroll into town and is most convenient for shops and services. The breakfast was a masterpiece if you like traditional cooked Scottish breakfasts like I do, Excellent value and would come again.. Contact was made via departing Australia with my questions answered straight away. On arrival was greeted with country style hospitality. Close to all amenities, easy access to Perth city. Nice small friendly B&B close to Perth town centre, the owners were so friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough to help. The B&B is comfortable, it isnt luxury, but its a great place to stay on a budget for a nice pleasant experience with a great breakfast, would definately recommend if you are visiting Perth and need to be close to the centre. Excellent B&B, welcoming,warm friendly atmosphere,free wifi,comfortable well appointed clean rooms, piping hot tap/shower,car parking,full choice Scottish breakfast cooked to order and piping hot,easy for town etc. Wish i'd found it before as i often stay in Perth area.Book now!!!. From the many Guesthouses in which I have stayed, the Auld Manse Guesthouse has to be the friendliest I have known. Staff went out of their way to make my stay memorable and comfortable. Clean and comfortable Good breakfast Pleasant manager/manageress, very helpful, i.e. offered to and did book a taxi for us, as we were going to a family party. All in all good value which we would be happy to recommend. Excellent host in ian,the owner..very accomodating..late check in,room was very warm on a bitter evening..breakfast was beautiful..room was excellent value for money,would certainly go again if I was in area for business. The room was a bit small but that wasn't a problem as we were the only there for one night. The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful upon arrival. There is only a short walk to get into the city centre. Ian & June were wonderful hosts! Their breakfast was fantastic, and all their advice on what to see and where to eat was really great! Mr and Mrs Mcpherson was extremely helpful and gave me their full support when my luggage was missing for five days. The breakfast was extremely delicious and the porridge was made with a Scottish receipe. Iain and June were superb hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. They took time to give me details of Perth restaurants and their locations. Very friendly and a thoroughly good place to stay. Warm welcome. Lovely people. Comfortable beds. Clean. Spotlessly clean, friendly, welcoming landlady, pleasant location, all the facilities of a hotel in a homely guest house. Top marks for providing proper drinking glasses instead of the usual plasic. Our hosts, June and Ian were very welcoming and made sure that we knew where everything was and put themselves out to provide us with an early breakfast which was excellent. - hosts are very friendly - room was lovely and very clean - breakfast is delicious - near town centre and green park - a nice stop when going from Edinburgh to Inverness. If anything, perhaps tablecloths in breakfast room could be improved upon, but that is really so minor as not to count really. Room a little small and a little tired BUT for the price it was excellent, had all the facilities, was clean, warm and comfy. losing my luggage for five days. No lounge although the board outside states there is one. nothing. - nothing - it's brilliant value for money. The rooms are underpriced in my opinion!. Everything good. Having to leave!. Couldn't fault it. room was a bit small was alright for one night would have liked a bigger room if we were staying longer. Very small cabin-like shower and toilet in one corner of room with handwashing facilities in another part of the room. Furnishings basic. Bedroom quite stark. I like harder pillows and had to find extra support. Twin room noisy as next to busy road, in need of a bit updating too.Also bed too soft. There was nothing to dislike. It won't happen often, but one of the other guests was a piper, and for half an hour shortly after arrival he was practising. Not my favourite instrument! Noise not overpowering but a little intrusive. nothing. nothing.
