Charming, considerate, welcoming hosts -very concerned that we should be comfortable (I have a minor mobility problem and we were given a choice of rooms.) The breakfasts were excellent in content and service. We greatlly appreciated that we were not hurried when we delayed clearing the breakfast room because we were enjoying a long conversation with other guests). Absolutely beautiful-from the moment we arrived - before checkin time, although we were given our keys and Karenwas happy for us to use our rooms straight away! The house is very tastefully decorated and everything looked fresh and VERY clean. Breakfast was well cooked and nothing was too much trouble - by far the best B and B we have ever stayed in - thankyou to Karen and mark the place is a credit to you.
We had a lovely one night stay,we arrived at 8.30 pm and the owner ran us about to find a restaurant as we had just travelled from the Isles of Scilly on the boat and hadnt eaten much. He kindly cooked us a nice English breakfast at 6.45 in the morning as we had a plane to catch, nothing was too much trouble. Would thoroughly recomment.
Karen and mark were a lovely couple rooms were immaculate and very comfy breakfast was of a very high standard as was everything in hartson house Karen an mark always made time to have a chat with us an give us any information they could we realy enjoyed our stay an will defo be returning next year.
Everything. Could not fault the place or the owners. 5***** accommodation warm friendly welcome. Owners very happy to help . Bnb was immaculate and extremely clean . Fresh bedding and towels daily. Rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was excellent first class all round . Deffinatly would return.

I loved the bedroom, nice decoration, very comfortable bed. Design of the house in general very nice. The owner is a lovely and very helpful woman. Breakfast was delicious, very well cooked and big portions. Good value for the money we payed.
Mark and Karen are friendly and informal, and a mine of information about Newquay and Cornwall generally. The location, room comfort and breakfast left nothing to be desired. I will certainly stay longer than two days next time!.
The house was modern and clean with a lovely view from the top room. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They only rent out a few rooms so it is not busy. Parking is easy which seems to be a major problem closer to town.
Good location with friendly owners. Off street parking available , lovely breakfast with well appointed rooms. On main road but not a problem with noise. Handy for walking into the main part of town.
Exceptionally clean and minimalist. Really comfy bed. I invariably have
trouble sleeping in strange beds but I had a fabulous sleep! Friendly,
helpful staff. The shower is wonderful!!!!!!!!!.

The proprietor very kindly really let me in to my room at 11 0 Clock. I rang to ask if I could leave my bag and she had cleaned room so let me have it so very pleased.
