The Pillar Hotel is a grade II listed building discreetly nestled amongst 2 acres of land and surrounds a grassy quadrangle. This boutique hotel offers free broadband internet and free parking. The hotel is modelled on the celebrated 15th Century Almshouses of Ewelme, Oxfordshire, and combines the traditional charm of a Victorian estate with contemporary 21st Century design. A continental breakfast is served in the elegant hotel lobby. Rooms at the Pillar are styled in a contemporary manner and all feature a modern en suite bathroom featuring a heated towel rail. They are all equipped with a 32-inch LCD TV with satellite channels. The suite features a kitchenette with a microwave. The start of the M1 Motorway is just a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Hendon Central Tube Station is less than 10 minutes' walk away and offers access to central London is just 20 minutes. Middlesex University is also just a 15-minute walk away and the Brent Cross Shopping Centre is less than 1 mile from the hotel. Nearby attractions include Hampstead Heath, Middlesex University, Kenwood House, RAF Museum, Alexandra Palace and Allianz Park, home to Saracens Rugby Club. Wembley Stadium and Arena are a 15-minute drive from the hotel. In front of the Pillar there is a 24h public bus stop to and from the Stadium.

Very nice place, clean and comfortable. Close to hendon central, exactly what I needed. Quite, beautiful and peaceful place. I booked a room for 115 pounds but as they did not have such rooms available I was given a room for 165 for price of 115. Very kind of the lady on reception. Though the reception closes at midnight she was waiting for a late customer. What a fantastic building hidden away amongst all the chaos. Staff were great especially the manager he was really friendly and helpful. My only negative which is a positive is that the advertising does not do the Pillar hotel justice.... Would highly reccomend to all my family and friends, fantastic.

Inevitably longer to centre of London - 10 mins walk to tube and approx 25 mins to covent garden but for the price we paid the quality more Han made up for it. I do not have anyting. A bit far from the centre. Can't think of anything. There was no hot food available, no dinner or hot breakfast. was too hot. We did turn down the radiator in our room so that was oK, but corridors etc etc were too hot. It might be helpful and cheaper to turn done the thermostat a little. Having to remember the entry code if you return late to the Hotel. They can't make tea!. I thought the Sunday breakfast could include some hot dishes,. loved everything about the hotel. The stairs. room a little small. No extractor fan in bathroom No mezuzah on door(s) No milk for their (wonderful) Gold Blend coffee!. No tea/coffee facilities in room. The Refreshment station only had Paper cups and staff member did not want us to take china cups from dining room to our room !!. No restaurant!!!!! This needs to be clearer on the website. I wouldn't stay here again for this reason. Curtains were insufficient so room was bright very early in the morning.
