I stayed at RestUP and was really amaizing : 1. Great location so you are in picadilly circus or tower bridge within max 20 minutes 2. Very close to elephant and castle station within 5 minutes walk 3. Lovely geen yard when you walk through the gate so you can lay on the grass and enjoy the fresh air 4. they have vending machines for drinks all overall the building and it is so cheap .. all items for only £1 5. The staff is really nice and helpful .. smily and well experienced present 24HRS to.
kaikki arvostelut » Great place to be, well located and reasonably priced, bright and friendly hostel, situated at 5 minute walk from Elephant & Castle Underground station. Picadilly Circus and Tower Bridge at max 20 minutes away. Room, toilets and public areas are clean and well maintained. There's everything that one needs, internet, cash machine, food and drinks, laundry and even umbrellas and electricity adaptors provided at reception. Staff, friendly and super-helpful, helped me print a Boarding Pass and . I booked my cheap bed in 20 bedded dorm, not expecting that for this price the room will be the size of the football pitch, brilliant value for money. I stayed at many hostels, and in this one I didn't have to wait for the toilet or shower, which were always clean no matter what time of the day it was. Breakfast was tasty, with unlimited cheese, ham, eggs and juices. I also ordered lunch which was again a great value for money. The atmosphere was great, staff extremely friendly. A Good place to. -Social room on the flor -colorful lighting at the entrance -lots of vending machines (but in a shop accros the street you can buy coca cola can for only 50p/in hostel is 1pound) -excellent stuff willing to help -location- just 15min to Tower Bridge or 25min to Big Ben by foot -you have a big tesco 5min away, or small one just accros the street -it is very quiet during the night. The hostel is extremley nice, facilities are very modern, clean and comfortable. There's everything that you'd need for laundry, internet, cash machine, food & drinks and even electricity converters and umbrellas' for rain :). Staff is excellent and friendly. Would definelty recommend and go again. Everything! Beds where really comfortable. Rooms where really secure, had 2 key cards to get to the room. Stayed on a Friday night and was really quiet so slept well. People where really friendly and so was the staff. Planning to stay here every time we come to London. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The room was really small but ok, very clean. For the price paid it was more than great! The beds are comfortable. It is very close to central London, approximatelly 10 min walk to the tube station. The reception works 24 hours. It was very clean and the staff were helpful and knew I was a bit disabled and were kind, There are lots of buses right at the door so it was easy to go all over. I had stayed there in 1981 so it was all different and this made me interested to see it again. The hotel is well equipped, brand new interior, clean. The staff is all service oriented and did their best to assist and to supply any request. Guests are nice as well. Bathroom, although a shared facility, were well equipped and maintained and clean. The very friendly, cool environment, arty decoration, very professional staff, nice people from all over the world, great pizzas and cappuccinos, free popcorn, free wi-fi, the old building, the budget pricing. Clean, nice room, near Tower Bridge, local food is cheap and tasty, plenty of local shops and only a 10 minute walk from the tube. Great traveller atmosphere. Well decorated, designed and looked after. Friendly staff made me feel safe as a solo traveller. Clean room and ensuit. Comfortable bed even though they were bunks. Close to tube station. £25 per night absolute bargin. - cheap hostel - buses to go to the city center are just in front of the hostel. The restaurant closes too early, so you can't buy food after 9pm. -Small rooms (8 beds in maybe 8-10m2) -poor wifi in the evenings -to hot showers -school excursions (a lot of crazy childern running all around hostel). The place is a bit far as end of Jubliee line and a 10 mins walk from there, however it's very accessible by bus. Great for a place to sleep and keep your things, but rooms very small if planning on staying a while. Towels weren't included in the room even though on the website it says that they are. Not having anywhere to hang up anything in the twin ensuite, The awful pale toast and cold coffee at breakfast. The checkout day. I'll miss RestUp!. Staff seemed a little unhappy with each other for some reason. I had to order a drink from reception as an unhappy staff member behind the cafe bar wouldn't serve me. Noisey guests early morning, but you have to expect it, it's a busy hostel with a lot going in. Noisy traffic-but what do you expect in the the centre of London just take some ear plugs... they worked wonders. Was warm in the hotel even with windows open. So don't have to be worried about being cold at night. Just be aware no tv, tea and coffee facilities in the room however some rooms are close enough for WiFi. So take things to keep you entertained. But in centre of London so if out and about all day its no problem. Had to pay for towel there so take one if its easier. Tiny rooms, bunk beds. The shower in the bathroom splashed in all directions. the towels and breakfast could be included within the price. The room was too tiny. No place for luggage in room. It was twin room. The showers did get a bit gnarly, bring flip flops. And the shower heads sprayed water everywhere but on me and you had to push a button to keep it going. Too much noise during the night, the rooms were not sound-proof, at all. We could hear almost everything on the corridor and in the rooms nearby. Not too big a problem for heavy sleepers though. The toilets didn't smell great and that's it.!!!. - noisy during weekend - no pc and no internet in rooms - low wi fi even in common hall if too many people stands connected. Quite far away from any pub (couldn't drink a Guinness the day before Saint Patrick's day!), the procedure to ordre food is tiresome: we have to queue, to order, to pay, to show a huge sheet of paper (=the bill), in order to show the cook it is paid. Long procedure and lot of paper wasted. Rooms overheated for poor insulated windows. Being charged £1.75 at the cash machine in the building. Not that much atmosphere, definitely not a party hostel. Nothing really, maybe a bit too pricey for a hostel. Bit of a walk from our room around to gents bathroom. there were no problems. Not very close to train, but bus. shower rooms are quite small. water in them is too hot, and this cannot be fixed. The noise (other guests banging doors). Nothing!. room was too small it is on the road and has a little noise during night. Nothing. The Elephant and Castle tube stop. Bit small room. But bed is reasonable size for one person. The toilet hygiene. Web site said clean towels daily for twin rooms, apparently not so. poor internet connection in room no free deposit luggage. Check in time too late.
