The family-run Winchmore Hotel is in the centre of Llandudno Bay, looking out over the headlands of the Great Orme and the Little Orme. There is a large car park with free parking at the rear of the hotel, with level access to the lift. En suite rooms and full Welsh breakfasts are also provided. The Winchmore Hotel has views across the promenade to the pier and the Great Orme beyond. The guest lounge has views of the bay. There are 2 rooms which offer wet rooms and adapted baths. Llandudno Rail Station is 500 metres away and the hotel is 200 metres from Venue Cymru, with its theatre, conference centre and arena. The shops of the town centre are 300 metres away. Some of the Winchmore Hotel's en suite rooms have sea views. All rooms have a Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

Amazing welcome! The lovely helpful man on reception addressed me by my name as I walked in and couldn't be more helpful! Perfect seafront location and a few minutes walk away from where I was working at the Venue Cymru for the weekend. Free parking and a lift down to the car park was helpful. I had a nice single room for one. Was so cosy on the first night I overlaid and didn't have time to sample breakfast. Made sure I made it down to breakfast on the second day and wasn't disappointed! Weather was beautiful and a lot going on with the Victorian Extravaganza weekend. Breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive.The new owners having been there for only six months were striving to improve hotel and with the refurbishments they have done have improved the presentation immensley. It is an ideal hotel for disabled persons who we noted were on lower floors with room for thier. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Winchmore Hotel, only expected to be working in the area for 3 days but needed to be there for 5 days and was glad Nicky the receptionist was able to fit me in. Thought my single room was good, but when i stayed in a double room for my last night was well pleased with its splendour and sea view. Always need a good Breakfast to start the working day and thats what you get at The Winchmore, plus the staff were really pleasant and checked everything was ok. Lounge. The nice friendly greeting when we arrived and the way that the staff were so helpful in booking us in and helping take the luggage to our room. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially as it was a very busy weekend for them. The food was very good as was the packed lunches we had on two of the days we were there. Nicky was extremely helpful and was very knowledgeable about the area and what to see or not! We would definitely look at going back to visit another time.We had a lovely time at The Winchmore all of the staff were very friendly we were made to feel very welcome and we were very well looked after. The hotel was clean, nicely decorated and very good value for money. We met the owners who went out of their way to make sure that we had a pleasant stay. We would definitely stay there again and are already planning our next visit! I would recommend The Winchmore to anyone as we had a lovely stay. We were greeted by a very nice lady in reception who was friendly and polite.We were pleased with our rooms and they were very helpful with our mum who has difficulty with walking, the room they provided was right outside the lift and she had a walk in which she was delighted with.A perfect stay was had by all of us, wish we could have stayed longer! We loved the hotel,it was clean and the staff were friendly I can't fault the place we are definitely coming back again next year and the children will probably come to,even though they are grown up now.we had a lovely break celebrating our 31anniversary.would have loved air con in the room as it was very hot during the day and night even with the window open but still loved the hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious and gorgeous. There was a lift (we were on the 3rd floor) staff were very friendly and keen to help. I chose the Winchmore as they advertised disabled facilities, which was necessary for my elderly mother. The hotel facilities where excellent, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast excellent. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for comfort, friendly staff and value for money. we arrived at the winchmore to a warm and friendly welcome from young jack who was most helpful threw out our stay we would recommend this hotel to anyone the rooms are really comfortable the hotel is spotless and the staff are so friendly . there is plenty of great place's to eat within a short walk.we had a great time and great food threwout our stay. The staff very friendly and helpful. The room was great having booked a double, on arrival we had a family room instead which was roomy and nice and clean. Loved the amount of tea and coffee supplies as you usually have a limited amount. Breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Enjoyed an evening in the bar with Mike. Good off street parking. We found the staff very helpful and polite. It was very clean and room cleaned every day. A good tasty breakfast and as much tea and coffee as required. We could leave the car parked in their the car park and not worry throughout our stay as they had cameras keeping a watch. It was certainly worth a visit. So thank you to Winchmore Hotel. Hope to go back for some more in the near future. hotel staff couldnt fault very helpful, we had a lovely seaview room which was very clean and tidy ,the breakfast was very nice and hot and always served with a smile ,and the hotel was just 5 to 10 minutes walk to main shopping area and the pier ,so will be coming back in the near future. The premier double room was excellent, very comfortable and fabulous sea views. All staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Vegetarian breakfast was readily provided and excellent. Llandudno an excellent location, lovely level promenade walk, fabulous Great Orme walk and views. The excellent service, on our day of departure we had to stay in our bedroom due to a fault with the lift. We were very well looked after and as we were in a front room with sea view,and no need to rush it really was no hardship. I need a wheelchair so the stairs were no good. Friendly, helpful staff- they couldn't do enough to make our stay a good experience. the room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the sea. This was our second stay at the Winchmore- perhaps we'll get a discount for a third because we'd definitely return!?. we liked the friendliness of the staff and they were very helpful the room was clean and the bed was comfortable . breakfast was excellent. it was close to theatre which was the reason for are visit we would use this hotel again and recommend it to our friends . The staff are all excellent. They are all very friendly and all very helpful. The hotel location is excellent as it is facing the beach. The rooms are clean. Brilliant location, parking at the rear all made for a lovely weekend break. i wish i had booked a room with a sea view my fault , me and my husband thought the hotel was great , but the lady on receptiin desk not friendly at all. NOTHING! Apart from not having enough time to stay longer at breakfast and eat more yummy food!!. You would need to be very very fussy if you had any negatives about this Hotel and i do not have any. Can think of nothing to find fault with. nothing at all. only stayed one night. Nothing to dislike. Nothing. nothing. couldnt fault this hotel. Having to choose evening meal by 3pm, we like to visit surrounding places and come back at a time to suit us within probably a two hour window and also to a different choice each night. there was nothing that we did not like . That we had to come home :(. Nothing. My only problem was that I thought the evening meal was a little over priced, not a complaint as it was a lovely meal, but the Chicken Chasseur was more like a casserole. Nothing!. What's not to like!. The only complaint was the pressure was low in the shower!. The view was not the best but it did not spoil our stay or enjoyment. Nothing. Nothing to dislike about this wonderful friendly hotel. Nothing. Nothing. Our bedroom was a bit small, but booked a larger one for our next visit. Unfortunately, a coach party had just left, so my room wasn't ready upon arrival. However, this did not cause me any problems. a) problem with hot water during the morning. cannot fault any aspect of our stay. The bar area is very small with only enough room for about 6 people. In our experience there is nothing to dislike. We do think that this hotel merits more than it's 2 star rating. the welcome when we booked in was not friendly.
