Situated in the heart of Liverpool city centre, St Andrew's Place Hostel features full kitchen facilities, communal lounges, as well as washing and drying facilities. Liverpool Central rail station is only 10 minutes’ walk from the hostel. An en suite shower room, flat-screen TV and a work desk are featured in each room at St Andrew’s, as well as a wardrobe and under-bed storage. A dining area, oven and refrigerator are provided in the shared kitchen area. A variety of shops, nightlife and Liverpool Cathedral can all be found within a 15-minute walk, as well as The Cavern Club where The Beatles performed their first gig. Restaurants offering a range of cuisines can also be found in the local area.

Found the staff very welcoming and genuine. The room was more than accommodating for my night's stay (as I ran the half-marathon) the next day. I found the shower simply amazing. My overall experience was fantastic and found the place less of a 'hostel' but more of a luxurious/en-suite/student accom/hotel type. Clean. Functional. Within walking distance from the Liverpool city centre. Free self-service laundry facilities. The shower was capable of significantly higher water pressure than usual. The free Internet access in the room was wired. It suited my purposes well, but YMMV.
kaikki arvostelut » The room was very clean and perfect for my visit to liverpool. It was quiet all day. I found it was an easy walk to the city centre once I got my bearings. Really good quality hostel. Large bed rooms. Gym. Kitchen. Very very clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Close walking distance to centre of town. Location was great, staff very helpful, mixed with other residents easily. Nice clean and comfortable room. Clean and comfortable cheap room in the heart of the city. The church conversion has been done beautifully. Very good. Hostel is fully new inside and very clean. Nice kitchens with everything you need. The owner was very friendly and arrived at 11 pm for checking me in!. Room was very clean. Staff very helpful. Bathroom immaculate. TV!!. This is a very nice facilty, in spite of the deceptive frontage. Good value for money. Very suitable for a man on a night out. The room is new and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Price, location, staff and facilities. it was new, clean, confy. I move forward my trip. The room was basic but it had all you needed for a pleasant stay; the price was unbelievably low (could have afforded to pay more but prefer to spend my £ on books); with the scaffolding still up, it didn't present well but I had a great stay and would return to this hostel. It was near the area that I needed to be and was a short walk from city centre. The place, close to the city center. The outside did in no way do any justice of what the inside had to offer (due to maintenance/scaffolding surrounding the outside of the building). The room was scarce in insulation, so it was a bit cold. It was tolerable in May, but I guess it might be quite bad in the winter months. The building was being remodelled, and this was noisy on weekdays. I wouldnt say didnt like but maybe could be slightly improved. Although the was plenty of kitchens etc. Every cupboard seemed to have personal items of food in them and there didnt seem to be any tea making facilities. Probably my fault for not checking this out first or I would have brought my own. Bed a bit hard, no long mirror in rooms (hard to do hair for a girl without one and no plug at bathroom mirror for obvious reasons) That's a bit nit picking though. V modern and clean place!. nothing of note. Some residents didn't clean up after themselves in the kitchen, which is only cleaned by the hostel once a week. Wifi is only available in the hall. A little bit noisy during Saturday night. Wasn't the easiest to find as renovation meant shrouded in scaffolding - would have been nice to know!!. 1. The address is given as 5-7 Rodney Street. There is a number 5 which gave rise to confusion. It would be better to give the address as 7 Rodney St. 2. My visit and my sleep were badly disturbed by the banging of doors. It should be possible to adjust the closers to prevent this. Single females (safety) or families (noise) might be slightly uneasy with the party atmosphere outside the room at midnight. Was fine for me after drinks - out like a light, slept like a baby !. It is a little bit far away from the city centre. It was under contruction. noisy corridor in the bathroom: missing a bin and hangers for towel. The window didn't open (needed a key, if it was given to guests); I had trouble finding anyone to pay my bill and return the key; in 5 days no-one replaced the toilet roll; on arriving, I had to ask for a couple of hangers and the remote for the tv; in the absence of being told, I discovered the communal use kitchen/laundry etc; the rubber floor of the lift (itself, which occasionally seem to have been switched off) stank like sewers but I think it was just the rubber!. No Wi-Fi No Toilet paper No elevator despite being on the 5th floor. No receptionist most of the time. I asked 5time to fix my internet, but seems no one care abpout it.. I pay extra charge for weekenedd stay, and in 48hrs I couldnot access to internet.. Very bad, very bad, manager on duty, make a lot of promises but never came to fix it. Avoid. Well...its an old church and i certainly dont want to stay in a hote, that has a few tombstones within the compound!! Very noisy at night, other occupants were getting drunk and making mayhem but no staff were around to ensure they lower their volumes. Certainly, my last time staying there. False Fire alarm at 6am on sunday morning Remote control for tv not working No toilet roll in one room. Very noise at the mid -night. Very narrow bed Too expensive for a youth hostel No breakfast. Friend could not book in as there were maintenance issues. Staff not answering phones. If there is building work going on, then at least let the person booking the rooms know in advance. It was under construction but I got no notice in advance. It is better to inform customer the current situation in web page. Hotel being renovated, it was difficult to check in and check out as no one was at the reception. Some problems with the TV. Dirtiness. Lack of Customers Service. Thank god it was a short walk from city centre because I did not want to spend more than two minutes in there. I ended up booking a hotel room round the corner. Floor was filthy. Crazily noisy. Skid marks on toilet, if you know what I mean! It would b good if u wanted to clean yourself and have a weekend of domestic services for the hostel. Not impressed at all. I wasn't expecting hotel standard obviously, but cleanliness is a must. Really poor staff, all in construction, couldn't find it and the lift was out of order. Really noisy hotel, look like a student resident and I couldn't close my door because the locker was broken. There was no invoice. Another customer was already in the room I was first allocated. Lift was switched off. Not clean. No security after 10pm- front door unlocked. No toilet roll or towels or soap provided.
