  I'm a 25 year old woman travelling with my 70 year old father: Despite reading a review that the traffic outside was noisy, I thought the windows' soundproofing in our room was brilliant! I could hardly hear a thing, and normally I can't sleep with any noise at all. Beds were SO comfy. Sink and kettle in the room. 10 minute bus ride from the 02. Queue for the underground was GIGANTIC but we sailed right past them an - I Stayed here for a night while seeing a concert at the 02. It's so easy to find and is just a 30 second walk from Charlton train station, you can't miss it.There is also a bus stop just outside with buses running to and from the 02 every 10 mins for just £2.40. The room itself was basic, but had all you need for the night. I stayed in a single and the bed was comfy, it had a tv and tea/coffee making facilities. It was very clean and all you need really.   We couldn't have had a nicer stay!! We chose the Angerstein Hotel due to it's location from the o2 (a £5 taxi ride away, between three of us) and the price of the room (I think £110). She then called again on the day of our stay to say that my extra pillows were ready, as was the room and to b - The hotel is ideally located for anyone visiting London with a train station to Tower Bridge metres away. It's particularly an ideal location for anyone visiting the O2 arena which is within walking distance (approx 1/2 Hr at a stroll) or a taxi will cost you £6 to £10 max (03/06/2013). The staff are very friendly and accomodating and can't do enough to make your stay an enjoyable one.   We were greeted at the door by (Monika, I think that was the lady's name), she was helpful and friendly. We were going to the O2 for a concert and she advised us of the bus we needed, the cost involved and the fact that the service ran 24 hours a day. Nothing was too much trouble, she was friendly, informative and couldn't of - We liked the friendliness, the location for the o2 arena was excellent nice big room very clean. We have lots of friends coming to various events and will recommend this hotel. Also we arrived early and leela kindly let us into our room.The owners young son was very friendly and helpful. We will return to this hotel.

  Very friendly, helpful staff. The room was tastefully decorated with a good sized shower room, a really comfortable bed and an electric fan to help reduce the summer heat. The breakfast was very good - lots to chose from and all very tasty.
