  Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double. Although we had booked room only, because we were there for the London Marathon, the hotel provided fruit, a cereal bar and L - Staff was exceptional, I have never experienced such seamless service. Housekeeping kept our room spotless. The housekeeper even offered to have a humidifier brought to our room when she heard me coughing. How thoughtful. While dining in the restaurant the staff noticed I was under the weather and made me a special tea. We were sitting in the lounge area and a staff member from the front desk noticed we needed refills on our beverages and alerted the food and beverage staff. I could go on and

Location is good for the east end of London as is only 5 mins walk from Tower Bridge.

Requests were dealt with immediately and we even got a tour of the hotel as we were interested in the history and architecture. The location is ideal. The Ace in situated in a great neighborhood and conveniently located near the tube and bus. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the neighborhood.
