  I had just one, very minor, irritation at The Kensington Studios. The AC machinery outside and below our room seemed not to stop at night. As i say, only a minor irritation as it didn't stop me from sleeping. Now the positives. My first visit to London was only aided by my stay at The Kensington Studios. We found the tube system ex - We were very impressed with the layout of the studio room and the design of it. The heated floors was a bonus when we came in out of the cold! The bathroom was excellent, and it was a major factor in our choice of hotel and our comfort during our stay.   The cleanliness of the room and the beds was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, it is a quiet neighbourhood, so you can get enough sleep to gain energy to walk thru busy streets of London and the nearness of the tubes, local pubs, bus stations and supermarkets is really great (about a 5min walk to both stations).   We booked the Saba Hotel as it was an easy walk from Hammersmith Bus Station, had excellent reviews on letsbookhotel.com and fitted our needs for one night in London. We were extremely impressed with this small, value for money hotel. Breakfast every day was scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, milk, jam, coffee/tea, so there was not much variety, however we felt that we got all and more for the money we paid - the hotel was an amazingly good deal f

  This hotel was lovely. I had read reviews and was a bit worried about what people were saying.. For those of you wanting to book, please take my opinion as it is extremely reasonable. If you want huge rooms, pay more and stay in a five star hotel and stop complaining! Breakfast consisted of orange juice, tea coffee, cereals ,cheese ,ham croissant, toast and jam and yogurt. Would definitely stay here again and free wifi!

  Even though we were booked into the Sapphire, we ended up a few doors down at the 'Pearl' which is their sister Hotel. All rooms in each Hotel are the same according to the Pearl Manager, so that was fine with us. Our room was in the 'sub' area below street level, but still with a window to the outside so wasn't claustrophobic. Brea - I was very pleased with the service when I arrived, the people were polite and immediately got me an iron, which I needed as I was on a business trip.
