  Excellent room with everything that a business traveler would need. Huge bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Polite staff and attentive to needs. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away).   We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. The location was great - Southwark tube is 2 minutes away, St Paul's cathedral is a 15 minute walk and although the location is pretty central, we did not find the area too busy at all.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » There were some nice places to eat near by - cooked breakfast for under a £5 in London! and a great food stall just up the road that serves homemade, - Especially friendly and helpful staff in total, but these 3 persons need an award: the very friendly mechanic who repaired the sink stop in a couple of minutes, the manager of the restaurant on 23.04./24.04.name: Iliantor ? the manager at the reception : Salem the location is fantastic, Globe,Tates, OXO,Thames cruises, tube, all in very short walking distance, was perfect for us! quiet room, nice design very delicious English breakfast in total: we will come again and also recommend this hotel

  Everything, it was ecxellent esp view from my room. The staff where very friendly and helpful with everything we required. - The hotel staff were extremely helpful. One member of the reception staff in particular (male - did not catch his name) was very helpful and very welcoming.

  The staff on reception were exceptionally helpful on our arrival and allowed us to check in 3 hours early and parked the car for us. We had just arrived from a business night in the Intercontinental Park Lane and taking away the fancy veneer in the room the City Inn was every bit as good (if not better). - Liked the fact that all the little extras ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » were in the room and included in price (apart from prices for the mini bar) ie: free internet access, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, bath robes, mini bar, basket of goodies. There was a computer in the room and broadband was free. I wish I had known about the complimentary tea/coffee/cakes which were out of view in a cupbord in the room and I only found out later when booking out.
