  Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs... mitä ihmiset sanovat » treets with steep roads, the hotel is easily reached by bigger and less scary ones! - V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

  Service - we had the warmest welcome - the hosts were amazing. Very friendly and informative - full of tips on where to go to eat and drink. Nothing was too much trouble - they provided a free parking permit for us and even moved thier own car so that we could park closer. It was the best b&b we stayed at during the trip. Room #5 was a hike to get to on the third floor but worth it. The room was tastefully decorated with just enough space for our needs. The shower only bathroom was spacious and modern. The room was quite quiet with a great view.   The town is a superb mix of Georgian English and modern cosmopolitan English. Bath Abbey Tower tour is a fantastic experience and very cheap. Lots of restaurants and good pubs in an idyllic setting.   Brocks is a really lovely Guest house. Four of us stayed in the lovely top floor family room from which you can see the famous Crescent and the Circus. The décor was so pretty throughout the whole house and the attention to detail was amazing. The lounge was beautifully decorated for Christmas complete with a sparkling tree. Karen and Rachel made us feel so wel - We received a warm welcome from Karen and her daughter Rachel. Our room was at the top of the house but well worth the climb. It was exceptional, very clean, very comfortable and the attention to detail was superb. We had a choice of breakfast dishes which were served to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed. The house is in a fantastic position as everything is within easy walking distance. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brocks Guest house
