  The cleanliness of the room and the beds was great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, it is a quiet neighbourhood, so you can get enough sleep to gain energy to walk thru busy streets of London and the nearness of the tubes, local pubs, bus stations and supermarkets is really great (about a 5min walk to both stations).   It was literally a minute's walk from Kensington Olympia and the Kensington Olympia station, which was ideal for us. The hotel was very clean, and nicely decorated. My room contained a safe and a fridge, but no wardrobe, I was only staying one night so that didn't really matter. The breakfast room was well laid out and the continental breakfast well served with plenty of choice.

  I had just one, very minor, irritation at The Kensington Studios. The AC machinery outside and below our room seemed not to stop at night. As i say, only a minor irritation as it didn't stop me from sleeping. Now the positives. My first visit to London was only aided by my stay at The Kensington Studios.   Good value for money, comfortable rooms with cosy beds. Close to Earls Court tube station. Choice of bars & restaurants close by with some supermarkets. Breakfast was ok, But for coffee lovers there is a Costa Coffee machine! There was a group of us, we hadn't pre booked so they weren't expecting us.
