Before they could let us into our room, they kept our bags for us, so we could get acquainted with our surroundings.   On arriving at South Kensington tube station, we followed the directions towards Imperial College and after a straight forward check-in we were directed to our room which although small, was absolutely fine. Liked the communal atmosphere - the uni bar is at the bottom of the courtyard and people sit around on the grass enjoying a beverage.

I also liked that the hotel was open 24/7 so you didn't have to worry about getting back there too late. Another thing that I appreciated were the guards outside when it got late, because it felt more safe. All in all I'm very happy with my stay there and I'd recommend The Generator to anyone going to London - The bar in the hostel is awesome. Drinks prices in the bar weren't too bad - £2.20 on all drinks (except doubles!) and the kareoke was fun. Staff were very friendly too.
