Clarendon House is situated in the centre of the Kenilworth Conservation Area in the heart of England. The original timber framed 'Castle Tavern' which is incorporated into the hotel, dates back to 1430.
The tavern prospered through Elizabethan times situated on the main route to Kenilworth Castle. During the 17th century it was regularly used as a billet for Cromwell's troops during the siege of the castle. Each bedroom is elegant and comfortably furnished, all ensuite with full facilities. The centrepiece bar and brasserie are open all day and evening for fresh snacks or more substantial meals.

Great food. Period property and rooms with added charm and nice old town location.Excellent food at breakfast and dinner.Room very comfortable and food was graet. No availability for late drinks as a resident and restaraunt was fully booked before we arrived so had to eat in the bar.Bed was uncomfortable. Remote control for the TV did not work. rooms rather basic. Ill fitting doors, decor dingy and dated, entrance and reception particularly unimposing.

Whilst some of the bedrooms retain their original cottage proportions, each is elegantly and comfortably furnished with en-suite facilities offering satellite television, direct dial telephones. modem/fax socket and tea/coffee making facilities etc. There are two four-poster bedded rooms and suite available.
Travelling information
We are located on the a458. From the m40 Jtn 15 take the a46 towards Warwick, then take the a452 into Kenilworth. Follow the signs for the town centre, then continue along the Warwick Road going straight on at the clock tower. Follow the road round and at the traffic lights go straight on and take the 1st left into the Car Park. Our reception team will be waiting to welcome you.
