A reasonably priced hotel for a short stay when visiting Inverness. A short stroll into the centre via the castle meant this hotel was good value for money. Our room was small and had a disappointing view of a wall. But it was clean and equipped with the essentials. Great staff, cosy and Nice location only a few minutes walk to the castle! Exellent wi-fi, great breakfast and a nice bar! Clean and spacey rooms, loved it! City of inverness: just go there! Nice friendly people, got it all, from relaxation to partying or shopping!.

Really nice and pleasant staff especially at breakfast, and the breakfast had wide selection there was something for everyone, the hotel was within easy reach of the city centre and easy to find. Would definitely recommend but request a room at the back,. Reasonable location; although not in downtown Inverness, the walk downtown was reasonable, and the price was appropriate; good room, facilities, restaurant, and price. Friendly staff, small hotel with large rooms all looked to be different wi hich is more refreshing than everything bring the same. I like the individual feel. Wonderful budget style hotel. The room was clean the breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful meal in their restaurant at night. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Although it was a trek uphill from the city center, it wasn't a bad walk. Loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere.staff were great. Food very very good all home cooked and good quality.we will return. the little extras - free wifi, freeview. tv with a dvd player. the staff were all excellent and made us feel really welcome. The stain-glass window on the stairwell. Computer wi-fi. We attended a wedding function at the hotel, so it was brilliant to be able to stay there aswell. Loation was good. Windows could open. Good Parking. Nice Breakfast. Pub inside the Hotel Restaurant inside the hotel (good and cheap). The service was good also good food and close to city centre. Clean modern room and friendly staff. Close to town, nice bar and building. the buidling. Only stones throw from where I was working. It was near to city centre. Breakfast was good. Food. Only drawback was that we were at the front next to busy road so traffic noise was quite bad, these rooms could benfit from secondary double glazing. Since the hotel was several blocks away from downtown and from the railway station, it took a little time and exploration to find the hotel. However, getting a taxi initially allowed my wife and I to get our bearings, and we could walk to the city center during our 2-day visit to Inverness. nothing. The bathroom floor was uneven. There was a lot of noise from the traffic since the hotel sits at the corner of an intersection. We liked everything. the bathroom was a bit cramped. The only disappointing thing was our room never had a view we where facing on to another part of the hotel so it was wall. A little hot. It was very hot whilst I was staying over and there was no air conditioning. Nothing. It would have been nice if a beer garden was available not just a bench in the car park , but this did not spoil our enjoyment of the establishment.. pillows were flat as pancakes,i had 4 and still not enough. Unfortunately radiator in bathroom did not work. It was freezing in there (staff remarks, not ours). We were offered another room but had booked only one night. Hopefully it was fixed before another guest was booked in. Large bathroom too so would have been rated great had it been warm. toilet didn't work on one evening. Bed was comfortable but frame very squeaky. the bedroom on the ground floor facing the back...it was better not to open the curtains. The spider that i found in my beautycase in the morning (but not a fault to the hotel which is altogether very clean). A bit "tired". Would have preferred to be closer to the train station. No elevator. Room a bit small and no bedside table lamps. No bottled water in room or nearby. Needed small refrigerator for my medicine. We both had bites appear within 24 hrs of our stay. I fear our room had bed bugs/fleas. Rooms were clean, but looking a bit 'tired' and dated. 10 minutes walk from City center, in a pretty resindential area of the town. the room was ok but a bit dated otherwise no problems. We miss understood the 9.00 am finish of breakfast and cold not even get a cup of coffee - chef was gone home this with a sign outside of "food served all day". Could have at least given one of the five of us a door knock to advise - poor show. the location breakfast. The bed was not comfortable and could do with replacing. The room was cold even with the heating on, possibly due to the windows being very old and draughty. Food not great fir price, room was cold, heater didn't work in bathroom, very dated, wouldn't stay again unless price was much cheaper. The room was dirty. Toilet not cleaned. Clothes still hanging in the wardrobe from previous visitor. Room very very small. Carpets not vacuumed. Bedroom and bathroom cold. Windows draughty and noisy in wind Bedroom drab. Disabled unfriendly. Manager/Owner.? Watched my wife carry cases up stairs did not offer to help knowing I was disabled. Male member of staff gave poor service, our arrival seemed an inconvenience to him and his table service was minimal. Sofa in our room had not been cleaned with various stains on it.
