Situated amongst 3 acres of woodland on a hill above Ilfracombe harbour, Laston House is just 10 minutes’ walk from the high street and 5 minutes’ stroll to the shops and restaurants of the harbour. Guests benefit from free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. A Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities are featured in each room at Laston House. All room are en suite, apart from the single room which has a private bathroom adjacent. A full cooked breakfast is served in the dining room which overlooks the garden. Continental options are also available, and in good weather can be served outside on the lawn. The Old Corn Mill and Ilfracome Aquarium are both within half a mile of the property, while Tunnels Beaches are a 20-minute walk away and feature sheltered beaches and Victorian bathing pools.

Hotel was stunning and set ideallic grounds. Staff extremely welcoming and the rooms immaculate with great facilities. Breakfast was faultless, and they use all local produce. Great price for a stunning guest house & recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Ilfracombe. Guest house made to today's needs but all original features restored/ or left to there original glory - truely like something from Pride and Prejudice. Can not wait to stay again. Breakfast was lovely cooked and I got the feeling nothing was too much trouble to ensure you had the best possible stay. 100% only place I will ever stay whilst in Ilfracombe. This B&B is very well done out - I am usually put off by dated decor but it can only be described as a period house with a contemporary twist (without being out of keeping with this style of the building). It has beautiful high ceilings and is light and airy - very impressed! Breakfast was also very good. Comfortable, friendly hotel. The proprietors could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Food, breakfast only, was all good quality with an acceptable choice (mushrooms esp. good) Lovely view from our room towards Hillsborough Down and the sea. Good old fashion hospitality, a warm welcome,nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, cooked to your own requirements and plenty of it. Easy walking distance from the sea,harbour, shops, countryside and plenty of places to eat. Greg and Aby were excellent hosts. The room was fantastic, very spacious with amazing sea views. The breakfast was outstanding, to a very high standard. 5-!0 minute walk to the sea front. We stayed a week and Laston house was well worth the money. Clean, comfortable room and friendly owners. Our second stay at Laston House, we love this place, it has such a warm and homely feel to it, amazing views and cosy rooms, comfy beds, all perfect, we did not want to leave. The cooked breakfast too is excellent. Many thanks !. The owners were extremely helpful and the hotel was ideally located for the town centre and harbour, will use again when down on business. The setting of the hotel is quiet with lovely views from the bedroom. The owners and their children were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were tastefully decorated. The breakfast well cooked and presented. I liked the atmosphere it was a warm welcoming place to stay. Abi and Greg were friendly and helpful offering advice of places to see. They greeted us with a warm welcome and offered us refreshments. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Large room & great view. Excellent breakfast. My only criticism would be that there was no shelf in the shower - being 6 months pregnant, I really struggled in the small space with keep bending down for shower gel! It wouldn't put me off returning though!. There was nothing to dislike apart from the wet weather!. Nothing!. Nothing. There was nothing that we disliked during our stay. Driveway full of potholes. Storage & towel hangers needed in bathroom. Bed generally comfortable but could feel some springs. the shower was a bit temperamental, I think it was because everyone was using it at the same time, but I lost water pressure half way through my shower, so maybe this is something for the owners to look into, but this would not discourage me from staying here again, I would definitely stay here again, the shower is not an issue and hasn't put me off one bit :). no electric shaver point in bathroom but was given an adaptor as soon as problem was mentioned. Nothing. Nothing. Duvet slightly too hot/heavy for the time of year (minor detail). No complaints. Everything was consistently good. Nothing. path up to house from road could do with some illumination. nothing. Nothing. Nothing we disliked. There were not enough surfaces to put things, in the bedroom and also in the bathroom. Nothing!!!. Nothing. The room was a bit cold. Nothing. Could do with some lighting in the car park. All good really.. Nothing at all - excellent. Nothing. Rough driveway to property. Lack of evening facilities (Bar). for the money i paid i cant really fault it. None. Nothing. nothing.
