The management was extremely friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a very large room with sofa, TV, ensuite, fresh fruit, complimentary water... everything we could have wished for and more. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, with the emphasis on home made jams, fresh milk etc. Also very impressed by the recycling box by the waste bin in our room - a great idea! Good location, too.We were particularly impressed by the friendliness of the greeting whenwe arrived. Secondly, the standard of the decor and cleanliness wereunusually high for a b and b in an English sea-side resort and finally, the breakfast was of a high quality and served in a very pleasantmanner. On the whole we were delighted with our stay and would recommendNo 78 to anyone wishing to visit Great Yarmouth. The hotel is very modern and excellently decorated to a very high modern standard. Staff very friendly and room very nice and extremely comfortable.Breakfast was very good with a lovely choice and pleasant service.Clean and lovely room with nice sea views, nice staff. Clean, well decorated room, central location, excellent breakfast. Lovely bright, large room with great view.Very clean, nice location, great facilities and some very nice touches. location, breakfast and friendly staff. The wide screen tv in the room with free view was a nice touch, different from most hotels. Nice large room and bed, breakfast very good. Had no internet so could not confirm booking made big delay in arriving room was good. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Our room was at the front of the hotel and there was quite a lot of noise from the nearby pubs. Nothing other than people making their way home after a night out and it certainly didn't keep us awake, but another couple mentioned this was a problem for them. If you are a light sleeper, it might be worth asking for a room at the rear of the hotel. There was nothing bad about this hotel. Just little things. There was no soap in the soap dish by the basin. There was no hair dryer, but I am sure one would have been supplied had I asked. No instructions on how to get sound from the TV when using the digi box. Parking was a slight issue, but the Landlady is working on resolvingthe problem. would have preferred a fridge in the room.Reception area could be improved but I guess the couple are constrainedby the building and space available. Cold in the room at first as the heating wasn't on when we got there, asked for breakfast in our room thinking we would get toast as it says in the welcome book and only got cereal.Noisy neigbours. Black out blinds are needed to screen the early morning sunlight. On the front bedrooms?.Shower cubicle rather small refreshments not refilled on one of the daysalso toilet roll missing on one of the days, no fruit in room as whatwas advertised on this site. Would recommend putting some net/voilecurtains on windows. No Debit or credit card facilities. Breakfast was uneatable. Parking cost in NPC some 2 miles away additional cost of £12.00 per night.
