Excellent hotel in practically all respects. This was a stop-over point for us .. the view over the loch is simply lovely .. peaceful.. every changing.. The restaurant was good ..
We had inadvertently NOT made clear that we wished a double room .. and we had initially been allocated a twin room .. we were lucky that a double room was available .. and we were reallocated to this one .. (Thank you !) we will make sure we don't miss putting that in the comments when it is not clear, next time. Great on site carparking.

My originally allocated room had an electrical fault ( kettle wouldn't boil but it turned out to be the circuit ) and I was immediately moved by the manager. The new room was at the front and I gained a view to the loch. The TV in the new room didn't work properly but that was sorted quickly too.
The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts good with cheery and friendly staff.

It was an experience we can tell our friends about. Beautiful location but watch out for the 'Midgies' and the 'Dwarfs' -Snow White and the 5 Dwarfs, looks like 2 MIA probably eaten by Midgies! Fear an Ti or Man of the house was very organised (possibly ex-serviceman or policeman) Our orientation was very funny. Ban an Ti or lady of the house was very friendly. The room was small but comfortable.

i liked the location and everything you needed was right next to us,i had my young son with us and what i also liked was the security in the building ,because my son has downs syndrum we have to keep a close eye on him,i only stayed a couple of nights but would have stayed a bit longer ,but finances for the inn was just enough as i have 5 boys lol

space to move around in. I also like the fact that there was plenty of
hot water available in the morning at a time when a lot of people would
have been using it. The bathroom was nice and roomy and also very
clean. I liked the idea of the soap dispensers at the bath and the
sink. All in all, I enjoyed very much my one night stay there and would
go back again.

Make sure you do the Jacobite train. Book early or queue for tickets off the train. Well worth either.

Although the trip way up to the guesthouse would be tough on foot, by car it is no problem and you are away from the traffic noise of the main road, which is not the case for so many B&Bs located in the neighbourh

Both Graeme and Bronwyn were excellent hosts. The guest house is located right on the side of the loch with beautiful views of the mountains. The front room of the guest house is a beautifully appointed guest lounge that you can relax in comfortably with lovely views over the loch. A delicious breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. The guesthouse is located just out of the main shopping area of Fort William but within easy access of restaurants and cafes.
