We had a wonderful stay at Lugo Rock. It's in an excellent location in Falmouth, close to beach, Pendennis Castle and only a short walk from the city centre. Pam, Jeff and their staff provided a very warm welcome, super service and excellent breakfast. the hotel was well situated in Falmouth: it was easy to access to the beach and the town center. The welcome, and friendly owners, it was a really relaxing break at a very stressful time. it was a lovely location and a breath of fresh air!. Good hospitality from a dedicated team, very well presented, clean and to a high standard. Throughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.It was a great place to stay for visiting the Tall Ships, in Falmouth 10 - 13th Sept 2008. Very good place for visiting most of Cornwall. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and free wireless was very useful, and tv with freeview very useful. Very comforatable stay. Excellent room as was the breakfast. As a regular business traveller I look for a friendly family run hotel for my overnight stays.Lugo Rock was perfect however with no restaurant for evening meals it is inconvenient to have to travel out for dinner.Drinks are also very limited, however a pleasant stay overall. Huge breakfast menu.The room was small but clean, Hotel well located and breakfast was nice. the parking is not easy!. The shower could have been more powerful but not a big problem. There truly was nothing I disliked. parking was tricky. Breakfast could have been earlier than 8.00. The room could have been larger. Bathroom cold and poorly ventilated. Not a lot of parking area. Thin walls the people next door were a little noisy. The mattress was too soft for us but obviously that's down to personal taste!. No restaurant or bar.Low shower pressure. No dinner served at hotel.
