Mitä ihmiset sanovat
Both my partner & I were exceedingly impressed by the high standard to which this hotel has been refurbished. From the moment we entered we were relieved to find this hotel has been beautifully redecorated, the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful with arranging a taxi for us, & the breakfast (included in price) was very good.
Thank you for a very pleasant stay - we will be back!. kaikki arvostelut »
The hotel was very homely and very clean and warm. There was all you needed in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly and service was always with a smile. It is situated near the town, cathedral and quay and bus stop outside. Very good location for a weekend trip to see the sights. Good value for money...cosy breakfast room...friendly atmosphere.
The room and bathroom were clean although it was advertised as a 3 bedroom room their were 2 single beds and a 3 3/4 bed on the floor which made the room unpleasant there were no seats in the bedroom
The breakfast was excellent served by pleasant staff and very efficiently The car park was very useful at no extra cost which is unusual in Exeter.
Free car parking and wifi (so many larger hotels in exeter charge for
wifi and have not got a car park - expecting customers to park at an ncp
car park and pay for the privilege! Unintrusive staff, nice change from
all the big chain hotels. More like a posh B&B than a hotel, but
that's fine. Aldi shop very close by - handy for snacks, etc!.
The staff were very welcoming, very clean room and en suite bathroom. Quick service at breakfast times. The hotel itself was very warm and they didn't even have the heating on.
The free access and parking was good. The hotel itself was close to the town centre, with a good choice of shops, eating places and sports centre.
Great to have a hotel with ample car parking. Close to city centre and train station. Breakfast was good, the staff friendly, courteous and professional; all attributes that are sadly lacking in many hotels that I have stayed at.
Internet access was fast and uncomplicated, the room was quiet. Will be staying here again.
Location, accessibility, parking.
Our fourth stay at the St Andrews Hotel. Our room at the top of the house was light, airy and spacious, the bed very comfortable and shower good. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The breakfast excellent and table service quick and efficient.
This is the second time we stay at St Andrews hotel. It is a very friendly place and convenient as we go to see our son at Exeter Uni. The staff are excellent and very helpful, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. We like the hotel and I do recommend it.
This was a lovely hotel the service was excellent anf the food was fresh. I arrived late in the evening by public transport and the buses had stopped running to the hotel so there wad about a 20 minute walk but i was very impressed .
The room was very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was very good and was included in the price.
Good value for money.
Bus stop is right outside front of hotel which made it quick, cheap and easy to get into the city centre.
The rooms are fresh and clean. friendly and polite staff Good breakfast, coffee making facilities in the room.plenty of parking spaces. close to Exeter town center.Used this hotel several times, Always the same Excellent.
Excellent service, arrived early and one of the rooms was made ready early so we could change for a wedding, also provided coffee while we were waiting. Hotel very clean, efficient and friendly. Would definitely return.
Clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were well equipped and breakfast was excellent and efficiently seved. Good size car park a bonus. Good value would definately recommend.
Staff were friendly Everywhere was clean and freshly decorated
Owner let us park round the back before check in & after check out so we could go into Exeter again without paying extra parking - cracking!.
Extremely friendly dealing and special attitude at the reception desk, over breakfast and help with a good advice.
I appreciated it very much and in my next visit of Exeter I would choose the same hotel.
Free parking, good location, room was a good size (for a single) warm, quiet, clean and everything worked. Bed was comfy and not too soft. Staff were friendly, efficient and easy on my hungover eyes.
Refurbished house, the room was designed properly, taking full advantage of the available space.
Very clean. Staff very friendly.
The hotel is traditionally simple and cosy. You feel welcomed.
the hotel and our room,9, looked like it had just been refurbished, absolutely spotless, beautiful. the staff were fantastic, best staff ive ever encountered, very very pleasant and polite.
Very good standard with plenty parking the facilities were excellent. Breakfast was a real treat with good choice and pleasant service. Would happily recommend the hotel to everyone.
Proximity to town, with good bus service, Ample parking (rare in Exeter). Spotless overall. Superb breakfasts, cheery staff. Roomy, well furnished bedroom..comfortable bed.
Staff very helpful, we did ask for assistance with our luggage which was immediately attended too. Ample parking and a good
breakfast. Close to City centre.
Ideal place to stay. Lovely big room. Great hot breakfast. They take
pride in the hotel as it is kept clean , fresh and decorated well. Would
stay again :).
This was a last minute booking and a meet up with a few old friends and it was a nice friendly and comfy bed, Hotel with very friendly staff and helpful.
Staff very helpful and hardworking. Breakfast good. No restrictions on parking which was helpful as within walking distance of city centre and quay area.
Hi,Spent there nice weekend with my friend.Hotel was very clean, nice and warm.Bathroom was v clean and modern, wonderful shower.
The brakfast was lovely.
None of the above as we went down to Exeter for a relative's funeral and weren't in the mood for shopping etc. Thanks, but would stay there again.
The hotel could not have been cleaner, everywhere was spotless. Breakfast very good, we stayed two nights so I tried both English and continental.
Owner let us park round the back before check in & after check out so we could go into Exeter again without paying extra parking - cracking!.
The hotel was located close to the city centre, buses and trains in a safe area. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were delightful.
Location - easy walking distance to city and other attractions, good breakfast, car parking available, friendly and happy staff.
Helpful staff and gave me directions to the nearest eating place.
Breakfast was well served and friendly. Easy walk into Exeter.
Friendly staff. The man on reception gave me a map and explained the area very well. Everywhere was clean. Good updated decor.
The location of the hotel was good, only 15 mins walk into the town.
Car parking very useful and plenty of spaces available.
I found this a really lovely hotel. I was impressed my room which was
the best sized room I have had since being in the uk.
Made very welcome, room very clean, helpfull and friendly staff no
complaints here will stay here next time I am in exeter.
The staff were excellent and could not fault. The breakfast was good.
The cleanliness and presentation was also excellent.
Excellent stay. The pillows were a bit lumpy. But it was spotless and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay again.
although we only stayed overnight the service we received was fine, general comfort fine, breakfast choice excellent.
Comfortable room. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent service. Good breakfast.
Ample parking. Good location.
Overall cleanliness was good and staff were obliging. Good value for the money and close to city centre.
The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The shower was powerful and hot.Staff were very helpful.

Attentive, friendly, courteous & helpful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Ample parking.

good value for money hotel easy walk to city centre with good size car park and good breakfast.
Good sized room bathroom well fitted out all round ideal for a short break, food was 1st class.
Nothing!.
The windows are only single glazed and the noise from the traffic was quite loud..also the late night revellers woke us up. We were woken up at 06.20am by the bin lorry..this was very loud...double glazing would be welcome.
My bed had a screwed up plastic sheet under the bottom sheet and the sheets were a dull blue pattern which made it hard to believe they were clean For £90 a night the bed linen left a lot to be desired.
10 30 check out a little early....if staying more than 1 night I'd
have liked a bath rather than a shower, but it was all very clean and
well maintained.
The only thing that I didn't like was the wooden blind in the room, it let too much light in. Could have done with some blackout curtains.
Bed was a little soft for my liking and the room was quite compact. I found no significant issues with this hotel.
Ensuite shower room cramped, wash basin very small and there was nowhere to put toiletries.
Nothing i didn't like.
Hard pillows.
nothing - cannot find any negative things.
on top floor no lift.
Nothing - was all good.
I could hear guests from the other rooms snoring!!!!all night!!!but only the first night.second night was perfect.
room 9 was hot even though I turned radiator off but just opened the window and slept with it open all night, and this was the end of November, it must have fantastic insulation, this is not a complaint just an observation.
No lift.
Glass shelf over wash basin restricted use of basin.
As we were put in a room with an external door it did make us feel not
part of the hotel :( And what ever the room was behind ( the kitchen I
think) we could hear the staff at 6.30am so got woken earlier than would
have liked.
A little "warm" but I suppose that is to be expected at this time of the year.
Unfortunately the only let down we're the pillows, felt like u we're sleeping on the rock.
Rooms on the small side but perfectly fine. A small bar in the lounge area would be nice, that said we will definitely stay here again.
Everything was good.
None.
It would have been nice to have had an offer of some help to carry my bag up to the second floor after my six hours of driving.
Although recently refurbished, obviously to a high standard, I would have thought that they could have made the 'compact' rooms a little bigger and also paid more heed to the walls and soundproofing. They were paper thin! The busy road traffic did not help either.
Lumpy pillows and the bedding was synthetic.
our room was on the first floor front of hotel failed to get much sleep traffic noise was horrendous.
If I had one criticism it would be that it was too hot, fortunately we could turn off the heater in our bedroom but the rest of the hotel was extremely warm!.
The road was noisy if you had the window open, which we needed as it was very hot the night we were there!.
nothing.
Busy road a little noisey, decent coffee and tea in the room would have been a plus in a 4 star hotel, nothing else though, and we would stay again.
Traffic noise.
N/A.
Room at front with window open a little noisey due to road, window closed to warm for me.
Nothing!.
no complaints.
the heating was rather warm in the room.
