Guests can enjoy fine dining in chic, elegant surroundings at the award-winning restaurant, or relax with a meal in the informal and stylish The Front Row Brasserie. From the minute we arrived until we left the hotel, the staff were very obliging and friendly. We were shown to our rooms and everything that we needed to know was explained to us. Spa facilities were amazing and again, very friendly staff. Grounds were amazing and very relaxing. A wonderful place to stay. A step outside the normal busy world. The building, garden and especially the view from our breakfast table into the garden and landscape is a dream. Comfortable room and bathroom with a wonderful atmosphere. Our daughter enjoyed the pool.

The food in the restaurant was amazing too, we really enjoyed our stay an will be going back this year. The spa was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the Maître 'd. The hotel was beautiful, well presented, nice gardens. The food was very nice. Stayed as apart of Birthday celebrations - excellent service, great facilities, great food - we will definitely return. Spa was beautiful, very relaxing, not too busy, room was very clean, staff were helpful where needed. The lovely peaceful countryside, the helpful staff, the easy bus trip to Cheltenham, the fine dinner. Lovely gardens, breath taking views, country house ambiance, great food, top class friendly service. Excellent service, huge room, well decorated, great spa facilities, immaculate attention to detail. The Staff were superb especially The young lady on reception ,she was so welcoming and helpful !. Unfortunately they were restoring the building and we were woken up at 7.30 a.m. by builders, despite being told that they wouldn't start work until 10 a.m. Having worked all week we were looking forward to a nice lie in and had till 10 a.m. to go down for breakfast. We are waiting for a response from the general manager on this matter as he wasn't there the day we left.We also had to shower in cold water on the day we arrived but fortunately the water was piping hot the following morning. Unfortunately the front of the hotel was obliterated by scaffolding and tarpaulin although we were warned of this and were offered to change the date of the stay. We declined and were given an upgrade.The room was lovely although the sofa in the lounge was very uncomfortable! We had a 40 minute wait for our lunch in the spa (only ordered 2 wraps) due to a large party in the restaurant. Staff were apologetic but we were charged £4 for a very small coke and lemonade here too. Our room was a bit small, but still ok. Batch could have been bigger to fit two!. The fact that there was a noisy child in residence, having to eat dinner in the brasserie because the dining room was booked out and the fact that the carpets were in need of a clean!. Nothing. The front of the hotel is currently undergoing maintenance and is cloaked in scaffolding. The works weren't noisy but it would have been appropriate to have been informed of this before our arrival. Nothing! But the post code is wrong on both letsbookhotel.com and the hotels website, we called them on route they gave us the correct one, we then had to travel a further 20minutes back across Cheltenham. Time to get it changed!. breakfast- poor orange juice. Nothing really, food portions were slightly small but I'm greedy!. Nothing. Very little. Nothing. sometimes service a little slow but no big deal. No concerns at all. no shower and cold water. Food and drink prices.
