Everything. The quality of the room furnishings, shower, lovely fluffy white towels and dressing gowns. The little touches like fresh milk brought to your room in a iced cooler. The staff were friendly and very efficient, food excellent. Will definitely be back.

This is a simply gorgeous and quaint inn with incredible ambience, excellent food and helpful staff. Really good value for money too. We loved it!.

It was very difficult to find the White Hart - perhaps part of its charm as well.
The banging of a swing door down in the bar area, from early morning! unable to control room temperature (too hot).
Sadly the only down side was a drain smell in our room which apparently comes from the river. Such a shame as everything else was just perfect so I really hope they manage to overcome the problem.

Only gripe would be lack of signage for directions but sat nav

Continental breakfast was a little on the cheap side.
Lack of Vodafone coverage. First time in ages that I would have used a landline if one had been available in the room.

Poor service at breakfast on the 1st morning, good on the 2nd.
Silly cups in the bedroom, mugs would have been much more practical. Milk in sachets instead of having to order it from reception also unable to order small amount, it always came in a large bottle.
The water did not run out of the sink in our accommodation very quickly. It took 45 minutes to run 5 inches of hot water in the bath and in order to get hot water up into the shower you needed a good knowledge of syphoning and cold versus hot water adjustments. The hot water alone would not go up into the shower head. The final shower result was a tepid trickle!
It is NOT acceptable to let a room with that problem, let alone charge £130.
That problem will stop us from returning. .
Beds are awful. New but rock hard and i could not sleep a wink.

Banging doors outside bedroom window from arrival until midnight and then again around 6am.

Shower cubicle was way too small and not powerful enough. Let the room down badly.

The hotel is NOT in Castle Combe but Ford nealry 2 klms away

Breakfast does not open until 08:00 on Sunday's so I missed it

Cleaner could not speak English and generally staff not friendly.
We we're mislead into having a very expensive breakfast when we were informed that the breakfast was included. The room was small, had a very odd smell and certain the bed covers we were certain tht the bed covers had not been changed! Very poor experience!.
