  Small, traditional hotel, tastefully decorated and ideally located close to, but far enough away, from Glasgow. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodated any request. Set in beautiful grounds - shame we didn't stay longer!

  The hotel had been given some rotten reviews, but has now been taken under new management. The breakfast which was not included in the room price, but was easily added was great.   The hotel is dated, but in a very authentic, cultural type of way. We had the executive suit (Lamond) which we were surprised at in its size, comfort and cleanliness. I've never had a hotel with a Spa bath! The staff were exceptionally friendly (not unusual for Scotland though) and the breakfast was yummy - diet went out the window!
