  Friendly, obliging staff. Despite being on the A5, the hotel is restful and surrounded by rural views, and wild-life right outside your window, (from mine I saw pheasant, rabbits, and watched a mole scuttling along, only to be swooped upon by a kestrel. This was our second visit the hotel and we would stay again in the future.

  We stayed for one night to visit a nearby venue. The staff were very freindly and helpful, they found and printed off directions to the place we were going. The next morning arrived late for breakfast and it was still no trouble, the full english breakfast was really good, lots of food and well cooked. The rooms were tastefully decorated and clean... mitä ihmiset sanovat » . Family freindly restauraunt and cosy bar. - Warm welcome,nice room. Although we had'nt booked a table at the restaurant which was very busy the Manager soon found us a table and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal, very reasonably priced. Staff in both the Hotel and restaurant were very friendly and efficient.We would definitely stay again if in the area and can recommend The Barns.

  Excellent location on the edge of Cannock Chase which has some of the best mountain bike rides in Europe. There is a camping site being constructed for bike riders to stay. The food is gourmet.... what a pleasure to stay at ... rooms very well done out with an eye to detail very comfortable. - We loved the room and we thought the basket of frui... mitä ihmiset sanovat » t was a lovely touch also the fresh flowers. The breakfast was the best we have had in any hotel.
