I stayed there the night before taking an early morning flight from Stansted and the night after I arrived back in Stansted after midnight. I appreciated being able to leave very early and arrive very late. Upon my return, I had more time in the morning before catching a train back to my home in England and enjoyed the breakfast. Everyone was very friendly.
I loved the staff! They were really nice and helpful about everything.
Also, the breakfast was nice and the location is great - right next to the train station and a short walk from the centre.kaikki arvostelut »
Great location (near the train station, city centre, bus parking...) in a very nice neighbourhood. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Not too many beds in a room. Many showers and toilets.
Good social room. Kitchen staff went above and beyond to cater for us
even though we hadn't booked were 5 minutes before closing and there
were 7 of us!! Thank you.
6 of us can stay in 1 room (2 adults, 4 children) - not possible almost anywhere else.
Flexible checking -in procedure & able to leave luggage.
nice staffs, wonderful breakfast, good kitchen for self-made food.
best location for going around and sightseeing.
Great service, clean facilities and comfy bed for the night! Nice shared facilities including lounge and kitchen.
Generally good installations and conveniently located close to the train station. The breakfast is good value.
Great, helpful staff!
Don't expect luxuries with this price :).
the closeness to the train staton and its general welcome.
The staff here is really impressive.
The staff is doing an excellent job.
near to the railway station.
Everything is good.
Very good breakfast.
nice receptionist.
Staff so helpful.
room is clean...
friendly staff.
very good.
Location, nice dining room,a lady with the shortest hair who happened to see me sleeping in the lounge(I did so to avoid the disturbernce of the snore of a man) and comfort me.
Loved how close it was to the train station and the main road. Enjoyed the air-conditioned sitting room as our room was quite warm in the afternoon.
It was very good for the position, it's quite close to the train station. The stuff was friendly.
really near the railway station, less than 5mins walk.
the room is clean and quite at night.
Excellent value for money. 24 hour reception, which was great. Friendly
helpful staff.
the service is quiet nice.
the room was clean.
the price is reasonable.
Location excellent for train station and city centre.
Staff helpful.
friendly staff, clean showers and toiletts, good facilities.
Cheap and basic and close to the train station.
Good warm staff and good breakfast.
Close to the train station.
staff courteous and helpful.
The price but only this.
cheap for cambridge.
Good staff. Friendly.
Price.
The reception staff were good and bad. Young blonde girl during the day was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Young man in the evening was nice too.
Within walking distance of the city. One of the very few budget options. Good value breakfast for 5 pounds.
everything was pretty clean, the staff was nice.
Good location, clean rooms.
Good value and clean.
Not much!.
Location.
For a hostel, it was decent - clean sheets and nice staff. I don't have any special remarks.
Expensive internet.
A bit shabby incl. showers.
Expensive coffee and other meals - it's better to have one in the city centre.
No lockers in the room.
Beds were a bit small for a 6ft6 man.
No parking.
small bathroom.
Quite pricey, although still cheapest option in Cambridge.
A table in the room would be a good amenity. The many additional expenses you need to make in the hostel make the price less interesting than may seem on first view.
The showers.
toilet and shower is outside, too many people waiting for. And no cabinet can put luggages. My food put in kitchen someone stolen them.
poor facilities.
Wi-Fi is not free??? I've never encountered it in any other hostel
in uk. Very disappointing!.
The poor circulation of air in the room and the heat because of the layout of the hotel.
The pillows could be a bit fluffier for more comfort. Also the shower smelled terrible; nothing an air freshener couldn't fix.
So expensive to get internet and without a lift to carry the luggage.
a little bit far away from the city centre, around 15-20mins walk.
No complaints.
the heater was broken, so the room was very cold.
there is only one adapter in a triple room so we can not charge the mobile phone and the camera.
Toilet and washing facilities need updating.
Drafty windows/doors ill-fitting.
on my second night I shared with three - guess - chinese speaking young women who kept talking and laughing very loud untill well gone past midnight ignoring me asking to be more quiet.
Internet is quite pricy in the hostel and rather slow.
Paid similar price for a hotel and got nicer sheets, free Internet, and free soap.
The facility looks old.
standing (dirty) water in some shower surrounds
too little refrigerator capacity inself-catering kitchen.
the feeling of being policed if you arrive back after 23:00. Some employees need an English lesson in order to understand how to speak politely to guests.
Shower not good, twin bad room is too small, not that value like london
and oxford y ha. The Woden beds have noise.
Lack of personal lighting in room. (Went to bed in dark and got up in
the dark) Lack of belongings security in room (lockers would be great)
cost of WiFi extortionate.
However when we got back after a night out, we were met by a very rude and unpleasant lady. She was treating us like we were rowdy school kids when actually we were behaving respectfully and being quiet. Very patronising and embarrassing.
Floor in ALL showers was dirty - black dirt in the corners. Only one hook for all clothes and towel in the shower, rest of the hooks was broken, so all clothing got wet on the floor. Wifi is totally overpriced with 1 pound for 10 minutes. Locker costs 2 pounds for every time you open it.
quite bad beds, one didnt even hold together really good, some of the showers didnt work well, everything really old, especially the kitchen.
Very hot, especially at night. All the doors bang badly.
The fact the hostel wanted to charge £7 for a towel (£5 of that was a returnable deposit) and £5 for 24-hour access to the WiFi.
Terrible beds!.
For the same amount of money you could stay at a good b&b or guest house.
There is no good place to work or study (tables, light).
Actually it is expensive and not valuable. In terms of location, it is actually far from city centre. Kitchen and bathroom is not clear.
