The accommodation was very pleasant in the cottage room but i felt it wasn't very private, i also thought we had booked accommodation in the actual hotel and as i am waiting for a knee replacement the steps were difficult. The food and staff in the bar were good but we were not able to book a table in the bar and it was too crowded to relax and

The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful - we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The ales and the food in the pub (including the breakfasts) were absolutely fabulous! The room was super, really spacious and very clean and comfortable, excellent en suite too. A lovely spot to stay in and we would happily return and would highly recommend the pub to anyone intending to stop in that area.
