My husband and I booked a suite (room 8). Nicely decorated and comfortable. We were very impressed.The staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked and home made bread still warm from the oven. A fantastic place to stay.We will certainly be back again and will highly recommend to friends and family. Try their carvery. It's delicious. Can't fault this place at all. Top marks!!.

This place seems to fit hand in hand with the expectations of McNean house. Custom House's warm home comforts and desired interior design gives it thumbs up!. The staff were extremly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is superb. I would definately return. The whole building was spotless. Decor in room was lovely and quality finished. Rooms were spacious and well fitted out with a touch of luxury. breakfast excellent.home made bread fresh fruit cut and set out lovely tea /coffee nice and hot friendly staff evening meals very enjoyable. Laura Ashley suite was beautiful,huge comfortable bed. Beautiful freshly cooked breakfast & the homemade bread was delicious. That it was so quite and peacefull. The room was lovely and the food was lovely. The staff were very nice and helpfull. Very friendly staff, beautiful setting, great rooms. Wonderful atmosphere. Want to come back. Scrambled eggs were the best; the wheaton bread was out of this world! Loved the location. Staff lovely. Food excellent. Especially dessert yum. location, food, room. Nothing negative to say. The room were a little cold as the cold spell had just begun but it didn't impact on our stay. Around 5pm the hot water was a little cold. rooms very hot maybe a fan would have helped. Poor quality shower head And water pressure which left the experience of staying in the luxury suite down. Room could do with blackout blinds. Nothing. Bathroom was very small and only had a shower. The WiFi did not work. Short stay found nothing wrong. Nothing - was entirely happy with my stay. Labrynthine passageways. A little dark. Hated the shower. very cold and no power. Bed was too soft and sagging...I think they need new new mattress. ( I think we were Room 6). Shower in bath only useful if you're 4'6" or shorter. poor heating and water temperature on first morning, limited range of wifi. needs plumbing fixed!!.
