  The setting is fantastic - every Austin fan's dream. Close to everything but in a quiet location with great views. The hotel itself is beautiful, you walk through a discrete regency front door into a wonderful combination of history, functionality and good taste. The service provided by the staff was impeccable - which is a first in my experience! All the staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

  The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable....   I was there because my son was competing in the Special Olympics in Bath. I stayed at the YHA because it was close to the University campus and a good price and I like an adventure. If I needed - I regularly stay here because of my commuting lifestyle. Having stayed in all of Bath's hostels, YHA is definitely the best.. By far! It has so many more benefits and facilities than the others. The showers are actually hot in private wet rooms within a communal setting. I also like that there is a sink in all of the dorm rooms.
