Staff were very friendly and helpful. The downstairs rooms were lovely, it's easy to see what a great house the building must once have been. The room was excellent value for money, especially as the price included breakfast, and the location is good, only 10 mins walk down the hill into Bath. Don't let your satnav take you through the scary backs

V friendly staff - good setting up the hill from the city but with a fine view from upper floors - bedroom was functional clean comfortable with a v powerful shower - and although the decor was a little tired and dated it added to the overall feel of an old English hotel from years ago - so whilst that could seem negative in fact it added to the fun of the one night stay.

The room was comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and a big bathroom. A great state of the art gym with all the machines and weights you would hope for- these seemed almost brand new! Doing the paperwork early so that there were no delays when we checked
in later. The offer of a map of the city.The positive reponses from all
staff to requests: could we have an extra pillow to explanations of how
the car park token needed to be validated as we were planning to
actually leave the car park( which is underneath the hotel). We liked
the view from our room of the river and the bridge. The efficient

The room was so much more than basic. We found it very inviting as soon as we walked in. The evening meal was done to perfection, and breakfast would satisfy anybody. - The staff were all very efficient and friendly and the surroundings were second to none.

The bathroom was huge, it was the size of a bedroom and had a large window, seperate shower and tub and lots of space, the bed was very clean and comfortable and lots of room in the bedroom as well. The hotel had a great full english breakfast buffet and the hotel was in a fabulous spot by the river and a few minutes walk to the Roman baths - Excel

The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal with enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a quiet relaxing feel, althought just a short stroll to the middle of Bath.
