The location was excellent - a sea-view room is certainly worth having. Despite the atrocious weather (and no visit possible to Rathlin Island) it was a warm and comfortable base for alternative trips. The reception staff were most helpful.Looking forward to a future stay in better weather!. A relaxing night away which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Play park for my 5 year old daughter was excellent. Also asked for a sea view room which we got. The food in the bar was excellent and good value for money. We will definitely be returning for a short break.
kaikki arvostelut » The two receptionists were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, I was really impressed with their friendliness to everyone and how they went out of their way to assist with anything and everything. The location is superb and parking easy. Service was second to none. Staff could not do enough, nothing was too much. We stayed for 2 nights and would gladly stay again. Try the carvery on Sunday, its great, but you should book in advance. Felt very welcome reception staff were very friendly. Food was well presented, waiters couldn't have been more helpful. Bar staff were fantastic. Beds very comfortable slept great. Just the whole vibe.felt quite at home.superb hostess Catherine and all other staff...best two day break ever.Highly recommend this accommodation for visiting the causeway coast. Little atmosphere in the Marconi Bistro. nothing to comment on. the restaurant/bar was good for non-residents but as a resident I found it unappealing. Noisy and more like a pub, and the picnic tables outside the hotel were populated with smokers and detracted from the image of the hotel. It would have been better to use some of the reception area as a lounge for residents to relax in. My mum stayed a room with a view. Lovely to see the beach only thing wrong the heat of the room. To use hairdryer had to unplug tv set the other socket was to close to table top in room 101. But enjoyed my stay. We didn't like having to leave . Shower could be better. Thought it was a bit overpriced, but was willing to pay it for convenience. nothing. no food to be got after 9.30pm. I thought food in rest very blan not a lot of thought has went in to it very basic and price of drinks too expensive ment i had drinks elsewhere. nothing. The service was slow, and even haphazard. Tables in the outside seating area took a long time to be cleared. There is a need for better staff training overall. nothing. A bit old fashioned evens after a recent restructuring.
