  The staff were very helpful, the building magnificent and for our purpose attending a family wedding in an ideal location. Our son who is 21 also enjoyed the Ashby night life within easy walking distance. - Comfortable beds in a well-furnished room. Evening dinner well presented, looked appetising and was most enjoyable.   I was really looking forward to the breakfast & on letsbookhotel.com was only offered the 'Premier' breakfast... Accepting this it was a shambles. It was not properly explained that we had to order the hot food but everything else we could get for ourselves. It tasted good, but I was very disappointed. - Rooms a third bigger than we imagined and recently refurbished. Heating efficient and responsive. Restaurant Staff extremely helpful and kind to my 90 year old Mum who was with us in another room. Did toast etc for us and really looked,after us despite cafe being very busy.
