  The owners were both extremely helpful and friendly. We were contacted by phone a week before arrival to confirm that our requests for our Ruby Anniversary weekend had been met. Our room was just as the owner described and had views to die for. The food was very good, speedily prepared and well presented. The hotel location is superb and is quiet, but only 5 minutes from main roads leading to Silverdale, the Lakes and t - Warm welcome from the staff and landlord. Bar staff, waiters seemed part of a warm team enjoying their jobs. The pub/hotel is pet friendly. We had our medium sized, well-behaved dog in the bedroom, and in breakfast with us one day. The waiter helped with a bowl for leftovers/water. The hotel is in a great location overlooking the tidal Kent estuary. Good walks nearby, Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, regular train service to local stations north and south.

  Delightful cottage in pleasant gardens with horse in stables. Lovely location off quiet lane between Arnside & Milnside. Very close to Morecambe bay, but unfortunately we did not have time to explore the walking potential.. Good restaurant 1 mile away recommended by owners, but other eating options available in Arnside. We arrived early evening on Saturday to be met by our host immediately upon parking at the top of the drive helping us with our luggage and settling us in to our beautiful room. We would highly recommend this but one night is not enough we could have stayed for a week it was that beautifull!

  We knew the distance hotel was from main tourist areas like Windermere. The hotel is down a long quiet country lane. The breakfast was "spot on". Thank you for your service. The bar is popular with other holiday makers i.e caravan and lodges and the price of the drinks were reasonable.
