  Location of the Hotel. Close to town but out from the city. Nice way to relax before the flight home. The Six Bells pub around the corner is a great place to socialize and have a bite to eat. Extended parking for several weeks very reasonable to leave one's car. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Don and Ginny from Nova Scotia - guest houses were not my usual places to stay, but now I'll have to reconsider that having been so cordially treated at GH The single room was small but comfortable. Plumbing was good. Breakfasts good too. Short walk to the 6 Bells Pub but a bit scary walking home through the graveyard after 2 pints, a bottle of wine and an Irish Coffee.   It was close to Gatwick airport and short direct walking distance to Horley town. The early morning taxi transfer was booked for me and arrived on time. The shared bathrooms were great - very clean and with a good shower. The room was clean and comfortable with TV & drink making facilities. The wash basin in room was very handy! A nice tou... mitä ihmiset sanovat » ch was that I was helped up to my room with my heavy bag which was really appreciated. - The owner went that extra mile or even two to ensure that everything was ok for me as I ended up arriving about 5 hours later than planned, knowing that I was travelling alone. The room was warm, the bed comfortable & I was left a message with my key to confirm my transport to the airport & time. Will definitely use again if travelling through Gatwick early.

  I stayed at Springwood for 3 nights due to taking exam in the local area. Recieved an upgrade to a double room, which was 100%. Free wireless internet, lovely breakfast. Lift to exam center every day, Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. - Only spent one night. Comfortable and clean room.

  the attendent came right to the door when I knocked, he knew I had a reservation, he helped me carry my luggage up the stairs, he explained the breakfast, everything went according to plan. The room was nice and clean with a lovely tea service laid out. The (cooked) breakfast was cooked for me at my appointed time. My airport transportation (same person) left exactly on time and he even pulled into a loading zo - I love this hotel and the owners and staff they make you feel like you are part of the family. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and will be back there soon. I prefer to stay here then in London. With a great pub near by with great food. I left my teddy bear there and the kept him for me (yes I said Teddy bear) on my way back with a short pause between airports the brought him to me and would not take any money for the delivery now thats family.   The staff were so helpful and friendly. They called for a taxi to pick us up for our plane the next day before we could ask. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. We saw many deer, rabbits and horses.   I had a very warm welcome and a very comfortable room. The B&B is very well set up to cater for guests travelling from Gatwick, and is only a £5 cab ride away if you are leaving at an unearthly hour as I was! It was very nice to be collected on my return, and my car was ready and waiting for me. We were in a self contained apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with our 4 children. We had an extra bed in the small sitting area so that we could all be together.   The hotel was beautiful with lovely grounds and the staff were very helpful. The food was very good and it was excellent value for money. - beautiful setting especailly when it snowed , and very romantic break
