We had an overnight stay in order to catch an early morning flight next day, It was convenient to the airport, very clean and comfortable. We did not have much contact with the staff, but when we did, they were helpful and polite.. - What an absolute pleasure. There were no problems whatsoever and the use of the sports facilities were very welcome.

Lovely old-fashioned manor house, very large rooms (particularlybathroom!), very helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Very wellsituated for overnight stay going to East Midlands airport. - the hotel has a lot of history this is reflected in some of the decor.Our room was very comfy (and very big) we loved it and will be staying there again.

We LOVED the Risley Guest House! The room was beautifully decorated with fresh and cheerful colors and so very clean. Wonderful fluffy towels and a modern bathroom were an added bonus! Sarah was incredibly welcoming and generous with accommodating my friend
and myself with four year old daughter at short notice. It was lovely to
be allowed to relax in the garden, enjoy the play equipment and stroll
100yards to a friendly pub. It's very close to m1 great place to
stopover for a few nights, we found it hard to leave
