  I like the feeling of beeing in a private house where everything is cared for by the owner or caretaker in a personal way. As a single traveler it's an advantage to stay in a Konak. It was nice to stay in a traditional house and actually get to interact with the owners. I really felt like we were welcomed as guests of the family and not just transient guests.

  Everyone there is extremely friendly and they made me feel very welcomed as soon as I stepped out of the car in the yard. The location is excellent, very close to the summit of Mount Nemrut. It is perfect if you want to watch the sunrise at the top (the major attraction there) and be back for breakfast.   The Narli was undergoing renovation so we were put in the Manici next door who owns both. A bit confusing when we arrived. Better views at the Manici. We had a room with a balcony that looked across to the mosque, the castle and the incredible rose gardens and park. The location couldn't be better. Served at the boutique Manici Hotel next door, the luxury older brother to the Narli Guesthouse, it is an incredible buffet with multiple bread options, homemade regional aubergine dishes, fresh jams, cheeses, eggs, olives, fruit, etc. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating and most speak some English.
