DIVAN Istanbul is perfectly central, 3 minutes walk to Istiklal Caddesi and a 8 minute walk to the Dolmabahçe Palace and Bosphorus. While a hotel in an ideal location is not necessarily a good hotel, this hotel is close to ideal as it is luxurious, affordable with friendly and helpful staff. Made our stay in Istanbul memorable. Moreover, it has a good gymn, indoor swimming pool and a spa.

Much better than a classic hotel room if you intend to spend time in your room.
Location is right on Taksim place, in front of Gezi park and Divan hotel. The downside is that it is a bit noisy with ongoing roadworks and traffic at this time. -

We were there at the time of the Taksim square demonstrations so traffic-wise it was a bit complicated to get in and out. The hotel is located less then a 5 min walk from istiklal st. and the metro station that will take you to the main attraction of the city.
the breakfast is nice and with a wide variety of choices.
rooms are roomy and clean.
