I recently spent 5 nights in this property whilst on business in Istanbul. I would completely agree with the majority of reviews here. The highpoints of the hotel are:

In our opinion the this was the best possible place to stay in Istanbul. The views from the dining/breakfast room were stunning. While having breakfast, we could gaze at the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sophia, the sea of Marama and many other wonderful sights. In addition to this, the hotel was only a few minutes walk from the tram stop. So we were in a perfect location not only to walk to the best of the ancient sights, but also to get the tram to other parts of the city.

The staff were courteous and very welcoming. This was like a breath of fresh air as I had experienced difficulty with another hotel called best Nobel And Nobel hotel so was beginning to think Istanbul was not good for solo female travellers!!! It was convenient for the major attractions of Sultanhamet. The staff were friendly and the facilities were fine. Great views of Hagia Sophia from the roof terrace. The breakfasts were excellent but the dinner menu was a bit dull so we only ate there once ; house wine not cheap either.The hamam was very good and was a great way to end a day of shop
